I bought this about a year ago. I held onto it until my niece got her license a few days ago to give to her. Well this this worked straight from the box. I put a new card in it and it keeps saying we need to insert one. Card works on my other dash cams and cameras so it’s not the card.I wish I tried it out when I received it for this reason. It’s my own fault. The battery is warming as it gets charged and keep getting blue screen when attempting to playback. The menu options are bad and hard to get it working. It took forever to change the date and time. Why would someone use REC button for “select” option? I’m going to return it for sure.UPDATE: I got a message from the Auckey customer service and they replaced the piece promptly.
