Good looking product, quick shipping, low ratings because it did not last more than 7 months. If you let water get in even once, it's a matter of time before the whole basket starts to get fungus. More practical to buy a plastic/ aerated/ water resistant basket, especially in tropical climates. Good for those who will always keep their bathroom/laundry basket zone super dry.

Not sure why other commenters are saying they are surprised how large this thing is, unless you're a hobbit with hobbit laundry this thing is fairly small, it's good for 2 people but no more, definitely not big enough for a family. I think maybe they say that because it's very "squat" (short but fat), however it isn't really tall enough for a proper laundry basket. That said it is a bargain price and fairly high quality, will last a long time, and unlike other models on here it will support itself standing even when it's empty.

The product is of very good quality and gives a decent look due to its off white colour.

This laundry hamper is better than all of the laundry hampers or bags out there in the market or online. I like that it folds up and is overall a good size for fitting into small spaces. Handles are easy to hold on to and comfortable. I find that even when it is full, it is not too heavy so it is good at keeping us from overloading it. The fabric design makes me worry about how it will last, but even if it only holds up for a couple years it will be good. It definitely is bigger than it actually looks, and easily takes my weekly load of laundry

Very pleased with this....was hesitant about purchasing a foldable basket but as it was from the Amazon basics range I thought I'd give it a try. Firstly - it's exceptional quality for money and secondly it looks a lot more expensive. It's approx 35.5cm square and just over 58cm high and holds a decent amount of laundry. It's sturdy and doesn't collapse and is very well made.The neutral colour scheme is current and has a nice linen look finish. My only comment is that if it's not placed in a closet or wardrobe, out of sight, then, because it has no cover, your dirty laundry is on display for everyone to see.While the display picture shows a fluffy white towel draped over the edge, am sure that 99% of peoples laundry baskets don't simply just contain fluffy white towels....dirty socks, bedding and underwear are far less appealing I'm afraid

I had to say goodbye to a a hamper I was using for a little while and the handle, which was sewn on, detached while I was lifting it up into the cart I used to transport it to the laundry room. But I like the look of this one much better and it stands up on its own. I just put one of the two hospital laundry bags I’ve been using for years now inside and used the drawstring to hold it in place around the hamper and then when it’s full, I will take the bag out and put that inside my cart rather than putting the hamper itself through too much by picking it up and putting it in my cart. This seems like it will hold at least two loads of laundry, which is all I need it to hold because I will only wash two loads each week. It does look nice on the outside and inside. It’s a cream color on the outside with gold handles that look as though they would be able to handle moving the hamper into my cart if I wanted to, but I just don’t want to risk anything happening to my new hamper at this time, so I will stick with my plan. The inside is a dark brown which has a bottom plate that is removable and I think the material can easily be wiped down, both the bottom plate piece and the walls of the hamper. I did just receive this item yesterday, so time will tell, but it appears to have more stability and I like the look of it visually more than the hamper I replaced, which just collapsed when it wasn’t full of clothes and easily fell over with my clothes inside when it was full.
