Zenith 5 Single Line Delta Kite

Two days ago, when we were shopping at Whole Food's store, my 8 years old son asked me to buy for him Melissa & Doug Skyhawk Sport Kite Children's Kite, which he saw at Whole Food's. The same day we've tried to fly it. It was windy, but nothing worked, even running with it, although we had good 10-15 mph wind gusts on that day. At first we thought that maybe we were doing something wrong, but then we've read the reviews about that kite on Amazon... It turned out that there was a defect in the stringing, i.e. preinstalled strings were improperly attached and needed manual adjustment, for which we didn't have any will or time. So, we've decided to return the kite to Whole Foods store, provided them with printout of reviews from Amazon regarding the defect of Melissa & Doug Skyhawk Sport Kite Children's Kite and suggested that the store should pull the defective kite from their shelves, so other customers wouldn't get confused. Then we’ve searched Amazon for a new kite and based on reviews decided to try this Prism Kite Technology Zenith 5 Single Line Delta Kite. It arrived yesterday, and we've tried it today. It took for my husband a single throw of this kite against the wind and it immediately took off and was flying as high as it could. You should have seen the face of my 8 years old son, when he was flying this kite at 200 ft in the air in the open field at the back of his school. He was so happy! If you are looking for a kite to fly with your kids and family - this is the one you should get! It is well designed and thought through product, and it comes with everything you will need for flying it. The kite is very durable and holds well in strong winds. It looks beautiful in the sky, especially with snap on tails, and very easy to assemble and disassemble. It comes with a pouch for carrying it together with the reel, and in folded state you wouldn't believe that the kite has 60" wingspan. You wouldn't even need to make any knots of the line with the kite itself, because the line comes with an easy to use and secure clip/hook mechanism for connecting and disconnecting it from the kite. If you are looking for a kite, then get this Prism Kite Technology Zenith 5 Single Line Delta Kite, and you won't be disappointed. I promise you.

We've owned one for over five years, and it still flys like new, so we decided to purchase another. For the price point, it's a great kite and will bring you lots of joy on those windy days. You won't regret your purchase!

Robust enough to fly at the (windy) beach and on a (gusty) rooftop. Easy to assemble and comes with handy carry bag. Easy to handle with ring spool (even for a 4 year old). Endured a collision with a tree and telephone poles without damage. Looks great! Summary - a great first kite for children (and their kite happy parents! ;))

This is the best kite I’ve ever flown. One issue was the red loop of string tied to the kite where you clip the kite string. It broke when the kite was at full height so luckily was able to chase down and retrieve the kite. Replaced the string loop with a zip tie so hopefully won’t have that happen again. Best part about this kite is how easy it is to setup and breakdown. Fits into a pretty compact carrying case. Super easy to fly, it just pops right up into the air.

I needed a kite that’s easy to set up for my kiddo while we were at the beach. I love how the ring of string is used with the carrying bag as a handle. Genius! Held up really well to high winds at the beach but haven’t used it in a field yet.

Difficult in high winds

Absolutely incredible kite, flies really well and makes even a beginner look like a pro. The colors look great against the sky. This 5 foot kite is perfect for younger kids to fly as it doesn't pull/have too much drag even when the wind picks up. The kite just wants to fly and it wants to point upwards...sometimes cross wind can turn your kite sideways, which can often times send your kite crashing into the ground. Due to the design and quality of these kites, we found the kite would help correct itself and stay in the air. These are a little more expensive and maybe not as fancy as some of the other "fun" looking kites, but we couldn't be happier after tossing the others in the trash...my only regret is...we didn't find these sooner! :)

I needed a couple of single line kites when we were getting together with friends and looked around and saw this Delta kite. I had prism dual line in the past and knew they were a good brand. Got the kite in the usual speedy time but when the day came, the winds were forecast as calm. When we arrived, I noticed there was a beach close by. We took our kite and there was a slight breeze. Hooked on the string and up it went. What fun. The kite is unique in that it will come apart to about 18 inches in length. Great for the backpack or brief case!

Great kite with a large wind range, larger if tails fitted. Not as much pull as the 7 footer. Great colours in the sky and the confidence of a Prism design.

Ich habe meinem Enkel diesen Drachen zu seinem 6. Geburtstag geschenkt. Er ist mit seinem Papa und einigen „Kumpels“ direkt an seinem Geburtstag zum „Dreibuckelberg“ marschiert um ihre Drachen steigen zu lassen. Er war soooo stolz. „Oma! Meiner war der coolste, er flog am allerlängsten!!“ Dem ist nichts mehr hinzuzufügen ;-)))

商品の説明は概ね間違い ありません。 使用はこれからですが、テスト で組立もしましたが大丈夫そう です。 解説書は英語です。 また、この製品を説明した取説 では無く『悪天候で揚げるな』 『周りに気を付けろ』といった 『凧揚げの心得』と読めました。 肝心の『組立て方』や『畳み方 (収納手順)』『トラブル別調整方法』 は説明ありませんでした。 このメーカーの商品を過去に購入 や持ってる人がいる場合は問題無い と思います。 組立収納にはテーブルが必要かな？ 少なくとも、空中(手に持って)で 畳める自信は私には無いです😅 また未だに横(外せる骨)が縦骨の 上か下かで判断しかねてます。 初使用時に様子を見ながら、判断 しようと思います。 骨の連結は広げると勝手に繋がる ので畳む時は引っ張って外します 縦骨は手で繋いで尾端をゴムの キャップでテンション掛ける様です。 横骨は先端折らない様に注意が必要 大した問題では無いですが 気になったのは 両端のテールリボンの輪ゴム 買ってから仕舞って置くのは 自己責任ですが、購入されたら 輪ゴムを確認する事を勧めます 私の購入したものは、劣化直前 (海外製はこんなもん？)で少し ベトベトしてました。 初飛行が楽しみです！
