LorAnn's Soap Making Kit

This is a really good kit to teach you how to make soap for the first time. It includes everything needed and also gives you options to change up the recipe for different skin types. This is very easy to use. I made my first batch of soap and it was ready within an hour. It is easy and fast. I got this as a gift and loved it. If you know someone who is crafty and enjoys making things, this would make an awesome gift. I also added my own essential oils in the soap, but the fragrances they came with were good also!

At first glance it seemed like a good kit, however the mold was extremely cheap. It bent on the first batch and cracked and tore on the second. I was as gentle as possible but its plastic like a disposable plastic cup. I just had to order more molds in order to finish with the kit. The rest of the kit seems ok. I do not recommend this because of the molds.

This kit is great! So easy - I made six bars the day I received it.I don't care much for the lavender scented oil - it smells a little toomedicinal rather than relaxing. The little jar of cocoa butter is great.I used coconut oil in the soaps and they smell awesome and so doesmuch kitchen. Melting in the microwave was easy it only took 30seconds to melt what I needed - my microwave is only 900 watts andit was perfect. The soap molds were very diversified and no problemgetting the soaps out.

This is a great kit for those who want to try their hand at melt and pour soap making. The soap base included is not my favorite type of soap base to use, but the kit gives you everything you need to try it out. I bought this quite some time ago and after trying my hand at it, I found that I love making soaps and have since tried many different soap bases, and I have a collection of molds and a variety of scents and colors. This kit is a good way to sample the process to see if its something you'd like to pursue. Amazon (and other places) have a wide variety of molds, colors, bases, and fragrances, to add to your supplies, but this kit is great for someone who wants to try it out.

Good introduction to melt and pour soap making. This kit has everything you need to get started. The glycerin soap base makes wonderfully clear and translucent bars. I did purchase a silicone mold and was glad I did. Soap in that mold released nicely, but the soap I put in the plastic molds that came with the kit was very difficult to release. I did learn later that I should have sprayed the rigid plastic molds with a cooking spray to make release easier.

This is a decent starter kit. We got additional molds and colors because the choices in the kit are limited. The soap base has a mild pleasant scent. The soaps are shiny and transparent when first unmolded, but become cloudy in a day or so. It would be nice if they stayed more transparent. The soaps themselves are pleasant to use. When we followed the instructions, and mixed in some of the cocoa butter, it didn't blend together at all. The finished soaps had "grease spots" of cocoa butter mixed throughout.

Great way to kickstart a new hobby! Super simple, with everything you need packaged in the box. Quality stuff with simple directions. Don't expect a fancy box if this is a gift, came in a plain brown box. Got this for a teen, who loved it, but was just as fun for mom too! I would recommend doing a bit of research before jumping in, as there aren't a lot of tips in the directions, but not necessary.

This is an ease pour soap making kit that is great! I bought one each for my two nieces (13 and 5) and they enjoyed them. We had a great time making soap over the holidays.Five star rating for ease of use, product quality, and a great family friendly activity.I would recommend this product for anyone who is interested in making their own soap for the first time, it's a great way to try it out.

Cet ensemble est parfait pour les personnes comme moi qui veulent expérimenter et sont nouvelles dans l'art de faire du savon. La qualité des huiles de lavande et de concombre est moyenne. Il faut mettre beaucoup de colorant pour colorer. Les moules sont un peu petit, mais en général, j'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir avec mes premiers savons. Parfait à faire avec les enfants puisque la base de glycérine peut se faire fondre dans le micro-ondes. Pour le quart de la base de glycérine, dans les moules en plastique fournis, ça donne 3 savons. Ensuite, le savon mousse bien et ne laisse pas de couleur sur la peau. En général, pour une première expérience, j'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à utiliser cet ensemble.

As advertised. Kit came in excellent condition. Instructions easy to follow. Got me hooked on soap making. A lot of fun.
