Stains appear after first use, Rest All OK

Fits in my Prestige Delite 5L pressure cooker. Just remember to remove the plastic knob before shutting the lid. Once idlis r ready, just screw on the plastic knob and take out the stand. If the knob is not taken out, first of all the lid would'nt shut. Secondly, a black plasticky residue would be left behind on the idlis. So remember not to steam the knob. The shine on the aluminium plates went with the first batch of idlis and a dull, white coating was left behind. The lower stand had some round black spots even though I put in 240 ml of water as prescribed and steamed for 15 minutes, the water level was not touching the bottom tray either. Yet I feel this is a very good quality stand, easy to clean and should last for years. But one minus point, I expected the idlis to be larger.

From Hawkins this is a very good IDLI maker especially if you are only one or two people but Two Things - 1. The most bottom plate is unusable since water from top comes down here. It should have been higher or had a greater ground clearance 2. This is Aluminium which is unhealthy to the T when cooking. Aluminum results in aluminium poisoning which is why I expected a brand like this to have the same thing in Stainless steel.

Overall product is good it made up of Steel material and easy to use easy to clean. I am using in to my 5l pressure cooker. hand making idli size is little small all I think so size will be bigger Italy size then it will be very good for us I don't know I don't think I don't know about is it possible in 5 litre cooker to extend the size of Italy or not but I want to eat to increase the size of deadly parts

Happy with it ☺️. Aluminium stand perfectly fits in my prestige 5lit cooker. Idlies take about 7 min. Used it twice. Perfect idlies each time.

É bem menor do que eu imaginava, mas é um bom produto.

It is for mini idli.. you will be disappointed if you are looking for normal sized idli. But they do a pretty good job for making mini idli. I bought it along with Hawkins 3 Litre cooker.. It is perfect and takes hardly 10 min and the idli don't stick with the idli stand..

The Idli maker is nice and works like a charm.But it’s actually much smaller than it seems in the picture.Still worth the buy
