There isn’t too much to actually say about the product. It was exactly what was expected, but I was very pleased with the care that was taken in wrapping it for delivery. These glass chimneys are very fragile, and I was nervous ordering it online. Unlike other Amazon shipments that I receive, this one showed that someone actually cared that it got to the consumer in good shape. The seller absolutely went above and beyond. For this reason alone, I highly recommend them for any of your oil lamp needs!

Built to Aladdin’s standards, to last.
A little expensive, but made to the exacting Aladdin standards. Should last forever if not mistreated. Replaced cracked chimney on great grandmothers lamp.

Looks good, works well enough for me
I bought this chimney, along with a couple of mantles, for a Model B Venetian I got for the ridiculously low price of $2 at a charity auction. The finish of the bottom of the chimney is not as nice as it could be, it did take a little wiggling to get it to go down into the burner gallery, but it fit well enough, locked in nicely, and you can not see the "bumpiness" of the glass once the chimney is in place. It did not break when I lit the lamp (I did warm it up slowly), and did what a chimney is supposed to do. The chimney is made in China, so it is possible that it was not annealed as well as it could have been. So folks who have been experiencing breakage might want to let the whole thing warm up real SLOWLY to a full burn, then leave it on for a while, at least and hour, then cool down SLOWLY. At the temps these babies operate, the glass will anneal in place and if you let them cool down slowly by turning the lamp down and not turning it off, it will be less likely to break on you in the future.
