**Q: Is this item made of brass as described by Amazon?  One reviewer says it is plastic**
A: REAL,PURE brass,I was really confused and Shocked that the reviewer said it was plastic,b/c it is very easy to tell it’s plastic or metal.Let’s see what answers from other buyers

**Q: Can the collar rotate freely from the pipe itself, or is the collar non-rotating?**
A: It rotates freely, but on my shower, it leaked no matter how tight until I tightened it so far that the color broke off completely. This happened as I was first installing it. I ended using a pipe that didn't have a collar, and although I couldn't make it really tight and at the right angle at the same time, I didn't need too since it didn't leak, even while loose.

**Q: Will the male end thread into the tapered end of hose and female end thread into hand held shower head?**
A: the male end of this item is G1/2 which is straight and will be stuck in tapered end,but most of shower hoses are with straight female end not tapered.
The female end of this item fits almost all hand shower head

**Q: what is the part dimension (overall length)?**
A: It is about 3 inches installed.  I can't take a video.
