The description says 12-24 inches, which seems very short.** A: The strap is adjustable. At its longest, it is a 24" drop from shoulder to the top of the purse. That is quite long. I'm 5'7" tall and at that length, the bottom of the purse hangs almost to my knee which is way too long. At its shortest length, mine hangs down 13" from my shoulder so that the middle of the purse hits me about at my waist--rather high. I usually keep it at a point between so that the top of the purse hits me at about my waist--about a 14" drop. **Q: Made in China?** A: Tag inside purse states made in Cambodia **Q: How wide is the strap?** A: 1 1/2 inch wide.
