very handy and easy to install
This saved us. It was great to just replace a small (very easy to install) part in our ceiling fan. Saved us a ton of money and time not having to replace the whole unit. very handy

Read instructions before you install
Before you install read the instructions. Not an easy thing to install but it was installed the way it's instructed. Works fine now, my ceiling fan is working again

Fixed My Ceiling Fan – Works Perfectly Again
This pull chain switch was exactly what I needed to fix my ceiling fan. The original switch stopped cycling through speeds properly, and after installing this replacement, my fan works like new again. Pay attention to the wire numbers.
Works, which says a lot. The switch action is smooth. One thing to be aware of, if you look at the body of the switch you will see several numbers and an L. This is important, compare the numbers on the new switch with the numbers on the switch you're replacing. They might not match. When I first installed this switch I didn't look. The numbers on the this switch are in sequence 1, 2, and 3, the old switch the sequence was 3, 1, 2. Which means I had to take it apart again and rewire it.
