Why has the price gone up on this coffee?

Puerto Rico was devastated by a hurricane. Their infrastructure was virtually destroyed; most of the island was without electricity for months. Producing anything came at a very high cost, let alone the loss everyone incurred as a result of the storm. Hope that helps. Best, Jonás

What is the name of the Hacienda where this is grown? Is this 100% puerto rico coffee beans?

The question whether this is 100% Puerto Rico coffee beans was not answered. The fact that it is processed in PR does not mean it’s grown in PR.

The coffee comes ground so you can prepare it in any traditional coffee maker. A french press also produces great coffee. I've also made single servings in the do it yourself k-cup. You do get better coffee with fresh ground beans and you get more for your money if you buy alto grande in whole beans. It just depends on if you can grind. Enjoy it however, I love this coffee and would recommend to any coffee lover.

dark roasted coffee has the least caffeine, while light roast has the most, this coffee is medium roast and is excellent

best coffee out of Puerto Rico for sure, Their is a reason why was prefer by Kings and Popes, smooth taste and the aroma is nostalgia. You can see the smoothness when brewing it on the moka expresso machine is. I prefer the beans as the value for money because it also keeps the flavor longer until ready to brew. And the Acidity can be dial in depending on your method of brewing if using a moka espresso the acidity is a bit more present vs if you brew it on pods like a Keurig, Over all a great cup of coffe
