These boxes are durable enough that the folks who we give eggs to (mostly friends, family, and colleagues) return our cartons after use. We have some of these cartons that have been reused over 10 times and they're still going strong. They also very nicely fit the eggs, and we can trust them to protect the eggs even over long and rough country transits. While I do wish they were blank, I don't mind the writing on them. WHY?** A: It’s a very large box - but if you are a prime member it’s free shipping. **Q: $48.65 for shipping? That nearly doubles the cost and makes your product much more expensive than other offers.** A: I am a prime member so there is no shipping cost. **Q: do they come with a UPC?** A: yes, but it is all zeros. the only other description is "one dozen eggs" **Q: Can these cartons be split in half for 6 eggs?** A: Yes I have successfully cut them in half for 1/2 dozen cartons. Overall a good carton for the price.
