does it work on pc and steam

Yes it works. Xbox controller layout socks and I won't use it. I used a ps4 controller with ds4 and with steam before upgrading to ps5 controller. The ps controller and every non Xbox controller uses a layout that just works better than Xbox controllers. That's why I want to use ps controllers on my pc and do use them with no issues to date.

Does this work on an iPad?

So long as the iPad is updated to the latest version of iOS the DualSense controller will be able to pair. To pair you will depress the PS button and the share button to the left of the touch pad and hold until the controller blinks. It will then be listed in the bluetooth item menu for you to select and pair.

Why does this take so long to ship?

Could be that it’s coming from different factory’s instead of an Amazon fulfillment center

Will haptic feedback and other features work when utilizing the controller on PC?

It can. It's up to the developer to implement the support for it on their PC version, but it seems to be gettting more common. Plague Tale Requiem supports all the features of the PS5 controller when playing on PC as long as you use the controller wired.

Great product, works perfect even after 5 years of owning it, didn't expect less from a Sony Play Station product, they've always made great gaming systems and accessories. I will admit that I have 4 controllers and this specific one does not get used as often but I have a white main controller that gets used all the time (bought at the same time) and it still works great, it is only now after 5 years, losing the rubber covering on the left analog stick due to heavy use. Still not bad at all if you ask me.
