We purchased our Silonn ice maker on August 7, 2025 (after previously owning a GE Opal II ice maker) and it has worked perfectly for 7 months, until yesterday when it stopped making ice. It appears to be running and the light is on that indicates it is making ice, but it never does make any ice. I just submitted a warranty claim with Silonn since they guarantee their products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a Limited Warranty Period of 1 year. I have been very happy with this ice maker until yesterday when it stopped working. In fact it worked so well that we even considered buying a second one for our home and another as a gift. So I am giving this ice make 2 stars because it stopped working after only 7 months. I will increase the rating to at least 4 stars if they replace the ice maker quickly, and lower the rating if they do not honor their warranty. I will update my review once I find out how well Silonn honors their warranties.

We have had this for quite a few months and works so well! The ice produces rather quickly. I gave it only four stars because it is a little loud.

I wanted an ice maker that creates the soft nugget type of ice and this one promised to do just that. After receiving it, I was surprised to see how small the ice maker was for the price I paid. There is enough ice for one cup filled with ice and that’s all. Even though I was disappointed; figured I’d just keep it and move on. Less than a month of using it, it began flashing red even with the water filled and shut itself off. Got up two mornings in a row to no ice and had enough so am returning it. Don’t waste your money on this one.

At first, we really loved this ice maker. It had quick output, we could set it to on and off from our phone and all seemed well BUT after 3 months, it no longer works. It makes a horrible grinding sound and if we’re lucky produces about 10 pieces of ice. I have contacted Silonn, so I will be back to update you if they repair or replace the ice maker. But as things stand today, I would definitely NOT recommend purchasing.

This is great... Works well and is quick to make ice. Use ice machine cleaner to flush it out every now and then and you'll be good to go. It is a little loud, but I just run it enough to fill a few silicone freezer bags of ice, then put it away.
