Review: Life-Saver for Potty Training Yorkie - I have a Yorkshire Terrier, and everyone knows how challenging it is to housebreak a Yorkie. I purchased this pen for this purpose only. The fact that it has a door that latches is a big help. First thing in the a.m., I carry him to the pen and lock the door. I don't want to take him outside since I live in a 2 story walkup, and I don't feel like standing around outside waiting for him to pee. I don't want to use his crate since that's his safe place and not meant to be peed in. I open the door once he has peed and leave it open so he can use it as he needs throughout the day, which is rare since I take him out for walks 3 times a day. This pen is very easy to put together and take apart again. It is rather large (36" square) for such a small dog, but now that he is accustomed to using it as a bathroom, I reduced the size to a 36" x 24" rectangle. I had to be creative because I couldn't purchase new panels from the seller since they don't offer such a thing. Too bad they don't. I removed the two sides and replaced them with two 24" squares I had from an interlocking exercise mat that I had purchased during Covid. I just used Gorilla Tape to attach the two squares to the two remaining 36" panels. So, I still have use of the locking door. This pen is kind of flimsy so it would only work for small dogs/puppies. My Yorkie will stand on his hind legs and lean on the door when he wants out, but the pen doesn't move or fall over. This pen would also work well for keeping your puppy in a safe place when you are unable to watch him closely. And it looks nice too. Of course, not so much with my improvised panels, but the pen is black and so are the exercise panels I used.

A: durable molded plastic

**Q: How large of a space inside?**
A: It's 37 x37 inches so almost 9feet of space inside. I bought it to stop my dog from peeing on the edge of the pad.  Plenty of room for all 3 of my small dogs. Bought reuseable pads that fit fairly well inside. Its nice because i can pick the whole thing up and it folds so place in shower and hose down when i need to.  Fir me it was a good pyrchase.

A: I bought a repeatable machine washable pads, 36" by 36" size put the bottom of the cage is very suitable, puppy pee is also very easy to see, my puppy very much like, highly recommended, I bought this link in Amazon

**Q: Is there a bottom that fits this?**
A: You can find fabric washable puppy mats on Amazon that fit this playpen. I have not found a hard plastic that is fitted to this BUT I discovered that if you look up "under sink silicone tray" the 34" wide trays fit PERFECTLY and they have a lip and are super easy to clean. These are meant to line the inside of your sink cabinet incase it ever leaks, they have a holding range or 2-3 gallons. They are usually about 34inx22 in so the space not covered is where I keep my dogs bed and it has saved my floors for over a year.
