Not that much acidic or concentrated. The acidic smell came only during package opening, but not really that much powerful acid to removing hard water scaling.

Works wonders
You can use it to remove hard water scales from taps. Soak a tissue paper with the liquid and cover the tap with it. Leave it overnight. Then scrub it with regular dish washing soap.
