Germination Expectation Amazination
Well, I was a bit skeptical about overseeding my fescue/rye grass BUT, I aerated, fertilized, seeded with this and it has already started taking over in just weeks after planting. I can't wait until spring to see how well my first attempt went. If you are on the fence, check your climate, if it matches, this is your seed. Thanks SeedRanch!

Go from furtive glances to yard praises in two months.
It exceeded my more than high expections. Germination started slowly at first, but then it took off. I used annual rye grass in combination with with this seed to achieve winter grass color and to stabilize the bluegrass seed base. It beats anything offered at Lowes or Home Depot. I went from the worse yard to the best in 8 weeks.

Overall, Great Seed.
I used it to mix into other cool-season grasses when I aerated and overseeded in the Fall of 2015. The lawns in May of 2016 were lush and darker green. It seems to tolerate heat and drought pretty well. My irrigated lawns are like golf courses. You can cut it as tall or as short as you want. August 2016.

Best rains have been the past 3 days so I ...
Changed seed from non certified midnight KY BG to certified. I'm on day 15 with light growth over about 80% of the field. I sewed very heavy. I water 3 times a day on timers and have got about 12 hours of rain over the 14 days. Best rains have been the past 3 days so I have fingers crossed it will all fill in as was sewn. If not, I will have to do alot of manual labor on patch in work.

Thick and Dark Green
Overseeded our yard last fall with Midnight Kentucky Bluegrass Seed and it took a while for it germinate. Once it came up, it look great. Mowed it 5 or 6 times before November and applied a winter fertilizer. Spring is here and our yard is incredible. Lived in this house >30yrs and tried lots of tall fescue blends in the transition zone. Forget about tall fescue. Midnight Kentucky Bluegrass Seed is the real deal. Fescue is popping up in the yard, but Midnight will take over. Yard has never looked better. Waiting to see how it holds up in the middle of summer. Yard gets 60% sun then some shade. Our lawn service complained last week that his big boy mower was having difficulty cutting the grass. Told them it has to be cut every 5 days. It is very dense and your feet won't believe the feeling when you walk in the yard. The only Con is the price. That kept me from purchasing this grass seed for years, but now that I see the results, I can tell you that you get a super high quality product for a premium price. Everyone who sees your new lawn will ask you what type of grass did you use. One last comment: Better sharpen your mower blades.

Overall not bad.
It took about a month to see any results. The real test will be in the spring.
