## Description

ATR Tile Leveling Alignment System Pro Spindles 100 pieces100 Re-Usable Pre-Assemble Spindles 20mmThe new spindle features a new screw element with a larger head and grip element, 4 segment viewing windows for easier viewing access and much more robust which means you will get more uses and will save you long term expensesWith ATR Leveling System You only need 1 Cross' spacing plate for 4 tiles, NOT 4 Clips like most other Leveling Systems. While every other system requires 360 units for 100 tiles, ATR only requires 117 base plates per 100 tiles.Advantages;1. The universal Spindle removes cleanly and easily, without any force applied, eliminating risks of fragmenting tiles or leaving any unwanted obstructions behind 2. ATR Leveling System is the only system that does not leave any unwanted obstructions ie., (broken clips) between the grout joints once the spindle is removed 3. NO SPECIAL TOOLS REQUIRED, for the advanced professional a simple socket and a cordless drill (optional) may be used to install and remove spindles, so you are not depending on a broken gun or a single gun on the job site. 4. The ATR spacing plates lock the tile into position giving you the most perfect intersection of the tile and straight lines without requiring consistent adjustments 5. Great labor saving 4 to 1 ratio*How to use in 3 Easy steps;1. Spread thinset, install tile 2. Screw spindle into spacing plate, Slide spindle with spacing plate attached in between two tiles. 3. Tighten spindle clock wise firmly until all four corners are aligned flush. * Remove Reusable spindle once tile adhesive is dry.

Review: Game Changer - an excellent leveling system choice for occasional use/DIY'er - As a DIY'er tile is one of those projects that is very difficult to replicate the work of a true artisan/professional. There is lippage and general unevenness, and ultimately we end up hating the work we did. No longer. Using this system, we installed large format tiles (12" x 24") nearly perfectly. We used slightly larger grout lines than the 2mm or 3mm options - so I bought 2mm plates and we used a good quality 3/16" spacer that holds it's position. The ATR system is like a clamp for the tiles, holding them flat to each other while the mortar sets up. This is seriously the best tile work we've ever done, and now we feel like we could take on more tile jobs in the future.
Review: Works great for consistent tile ... not for naturally uneven, beveled or inconsistent materials - I'm a bit puzzled by some of the negative reviews of this product. I'm wondering if the reviewers just didn't understand what this product is designed to do and what it is NOT designed to do. All leveling systems on the market are going to rely on a few things .... that you already know what you are doing in general and that your tile products are of decent quality and exhibit consistent measurements from piece to piece. Also that the tiles are the proper size and thickness for the leveling system you are using. If those things are all true, then this system works just fine, and is actually easier to remove from the finished job than most other anti-lippage products. It's true that the spindles ARE smaller than many other systems and therefore this is probably most appropriate for medium and smaller format tiles, and probably is best suited for tiles less than 3/8" thick. No leveling system is going to work well with tiles that are inconsistent in thickness or which have beveled or graduated edges. For instance, tumbled travertine or other natural materials can exhibit a wide variance in edge line and thickness. That kind of product is best leveled by eye and float, and should probably be left to professionals. I am not a professional tile setter and I used this leveling system on my bathroom walls using highly consistent 8x8 porcelain. As with other high-quality porcelain tile that I shopped, it was a product where each tile is essentially an exact clone of all the others and with very clean, very well-defined corners / edges and identical thickness on every edge of every tile in every box. If you are using ceramic and not porcelain, remember that your edges are going to be manufactured differently ... they slope a small amount right at the edge, so if you are using a ceramic with a lot of variation and/or slope at the very edge, especially if it's a larger format tile, you probably will want a system that involves an upper face with more surface area and where that upper, clamping face is further from the joint. But for medium format or smaller (i would say 12" and less) and consistent tiles, this system is fine. If the spindles were broader and the waste pieces (the flat pieces that are left in the competed work and have to be re-purchased for each job) were a more reasonable price, I would have given this product 5 stars. But this product is NOT appropriate for every job so consider that before purchase. And the "refills" are overpriced in my opinion.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I am installing 758sft of 12x24 lft. i know it will take me at least two days. what do i do with the unfinished sides?**
A: You can use the Edge plates to finish the day off and start again with Cross or T plates.

**Q: I'm doing the backsplash in my kitchen. using 6in x 3in subway tile. was wondering if this system is too big like the spinning part Wil they hit each**
A: Great question. I wouldn’t recommend these for such small tiles. You will need to use a lot of T-shaped pieces. This system is best for tiles 12x12 and up. Hope this helps.

**Q: Can this work with a 1-1/8" thick tile?**
A: I used it on 1/4" tile. Personally I don't believe it works on such time as might not have the strength to pull 1 1/8' tile . Is it a tile or brick ?

**Q: What size gap does this leave? I’m in search of 3/16 or 1/4 inch**
A: The ATR spacer what control the gap, we have 2mm (3/32) and 3mm (1/8) only

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT SYSTEM
*by S***O on December 24, 2013*

Very simple system to use. Place one in every corner, tighten and move on. Laid down tile in almost half the time. No more lifting of tile to add or remove thinset. Unlike other systems that require 4 clips on every corner, only need 1. Only thing is, make sure you keep the corners clean of thinset before placing spacers or you'll be digging out the corners after removing spindles.
