If you are into bushcraft stuff check it out. This pack attaches to a military web belt, throw on a couple of canteens, and the LC-2 shoulder straps and its a great day hiking set up (I ordered everything from desertcart). Its tough nylon ripstop material, yet lighter than older military canvas ones its modeled after. It will hold a poncho or rain shell jacket, some snacks, and other items. Pretty much everything you need for an all day hiking trip. Review: Perfect, with a little modification - For the price, it's durable and well made. The cinch straps arepretty long which allowed me to strap a small jacket under them. Perfect for my day hiking needs. I love this bag. My only frustration is that the mounts for suspenders are right above where the ALICE clips attach to the bag, so the whole thing wants to sag backwards away from the belt. I modified the bag by moving the plastic anchors to the top edge of the bag and using those to attach the bag to my pistol belt. I hope the photos help demonstrate a little better. With that small modification, the bag now hangs very neatly off the belt with or without suspenders. Some might be concerned that having the plastic anchors inside the belt might be uncomfortable but I can't actually notice them.
