The Japanese bbq spot we go to is run by Chinese and for over a year now I’ve been searching for this red dipping powder they offer. They allowed me to take a picture of the huge bag in the restaurant and thanks to ChatGPT, I was led to this product. Bingo! It tastes identical to the one at the restaurant. I’ve put it on my beef and eggs so far but the taste of the powder would go with just about anything. It’s not the spiciest and may not necessarily be good for you, but I enjoy it. Also worth noting that I ordered and received this product in March 2026. Expiration on the package is November 2026. Good thing they’re in small packets and at about $9, I won’t feel bad dumping if it’s no good at expiration.
