How effective is it outdoors?

I use the product for my vehicle that is not in a garage. So far the rodents have not caused any additional damage under the hood. I respray about every 2 weeks.

Does it work for raccoons?

I don't know about raccoons. Definitely works for mice.

Can this be used around dogs?

it contains peppermint oil so you would have to check if that's safe for dogs. I have heard some essential oils are not safe for animals.
