Quality furniture.
If you can take the minor assembly of knock down furniture, Leick is your brand. Quality throughout. No cheap particleboard, all hardwoods. Excellent finish. We also bought the matching Leick coffee table and this review applies to that also. Even assembly is easy. Only the legs and lower shelf of the table require assembly and they are attached with very sturdy bolts. The lamp requires a bit more assembly but also a quality fixture. The switch is three way. I can honestly say this is the best "knock down" furniture I have ever purchased, and I am old and have purchased a lot of it over the years. This item and the coffee table were both packed in very sturdy cartons. Not a bit of damage even though one corner of a carton was crushed in shipping. It is made in China but that only proves they can make quality goods if it is properly designed and the manufacture properly supervised. I was and still am impressed. In our family room it (and the coffee table) appear to have been purchased from a high-end furniture store. Very nice piece.

Very impressed with the quality
This was packed flawlessly. An egg would have arrived intact. This is a very nice solid wood table that was easy to assemble and looks great. Very impressed with the quality.

Nice , Heavy piece of furniture.
High quality, well consructed item for a fair price, although it came with a weak/ cracked leg brace. I didn't complain about it because I didn't want to go thru the return process. It is a heavy piece of furniture and won't be moved much. Have had it a couple months, and I am very satisfied with it.

Solid build. looks great
Once assembled it looks very nice, packaging and delivery was excellent, the (4) legs come pre-assembled however, (1) leg was not attached, the remaining (3) were, the hardware intended to hold the (4th) leg was laying loose in the box with (2) lock washers missing, not a problem since I have plenty around the house. (5) stars because it came together quickly, solid build and very nice looking and it has a nice slide out drawer for storage.

Partially assembled damaged product
This item arrived in a carton approx. 4' x 4' x 4', supposedly with the top. drawer, and legs attached. Only assembly to be required were the shelf and the lamp assembly Two legs were loosely attached, and the top appeared to have been attached at one time, but was unattached. Screw holes in top were stripped with two gouged out. Attachment brackets for top are positioned so that it is almost impossible to reattach the top even after using wood putty to fill in the stripped pre-drilled screw holes. Hardware for all but the lamp assembly was loose among the packaging. It looked as though this was a returned product that had been repackaged and shipped by the manufacturer,

Ok But...
The table is very nice and the wood is solid however the lampshade is about 3 inches too short to be used as a side table next to a chair or sofa

Absolutely beautiful!
WOW! Beautiful! This table came packed so well that it took us 10 minutes just to unpack it. Directions were pretty easy to follow. There was a piece that was not mentioned in directions, a plastic ring that goes into the cord hole from the back, then the other plastic ring fits into it from outside. Otherwise, it was a piece of cake. Very impressed! Love it!

I feel like Goldilocks.
The quality's decent on this, solid wood, nice finish on the metal parts, nifty shade. HOWEVER, there are two plastic pieces (called "insulators") that are meant to line each of two holes - - one in the top of the table for the lamp tube to go into, and one in the back of the table for the cord to come out of. The hole in the top is cut too small to fit the insulator into. Meanwhile, the hole in the back is cut too large, and the insulator falls out of it. What idiot designed this? In the end, we just threw the insulators away. But, by that time, our efforts to fit the insulator into the top of the table had chipped the edges of the hole to the point where it looks like a carved daisy. Pretty disappointed, really. I'm keeping it, but that's only because I'm sure ordering a replacement wouldn't fix the problem.
