It is too thick than what I expected, though this could be a plus point for other buyers as it kinda add some cushion to your hands. It is a downside to me though coz the leg of my monitor will partly (60%) set on it thus making it flimsy and wobbly for my monitor to stand. Again, this one could differ with regards to our preference. I did give it a poor rating simply bcoz, I felt like I needed to highlight the most important aspect of the product which is the mouse pad feature. Well, it did not what I expected it to be cause since I had it on my desk I noticed the poor sensitivity on my mouse. I have 3 mice on my desk, 2 is branded and 1 generic and they behaved almost the same. So I pretty sure its not a mouse issue. I suspect its on the slippery texture on its surface, not sure with that though. I will definitely going to return it f I still could make it within the return period cause I have clear my whole desk again to remove the item..
