Works perfect
People have issues with this not working, they are obviously hooking it up wrong. You need to find the series in which your batteries are running. Easiest way on a golf cart is to look at which wires go from your battery pack to your run/tow box. Those wires will be your positive and negative. You can always test with a volt meter. You will want to attach positive to positive battery terminal 1 in the series and your negative at the end of the series, if you donโt do that you will not get proper reading and possibly battery meter failure. Then connect C or common to the on position post of your key switch, if you donโt do that the meter will keep scanning and give false reading or no reading at all. Sounds confusing, but Iโm sure YouTube has videos on battery series and hooking a meter up.

That we were not low of juice!
It was time to replace ours. It gave negative results and would charge the cart all the time!

Works great but plan to use your own connectors
I used this for my 48 volt Club Car golf cart. It comes with mounting bolts, nuts and washers and also includes three female electrical connectors. However, the connectors are very poor quality. I even tried to solder them but I couldn't get them to hold the wires good enough that I would trust they were going to stay intact. Last thing I want to do is to tear apart the cart after a few months to redo the wiring. For a few pennies, they could (should) include better connectors that can be trusted. I just connected everything and so far it appears to work. I will update if, after some use, it doesn't perform as expected.

So much better than warning light!
Easy install, great value, so much better representation of battery discharge than simple warning light. Nothing beats peace of mind this โbattery fuel gaugeโ gives. Love it!

Less than 8 months later and the gauge is broken
My grandfather installed the gauge and it hasnโt worked well at all. I used the cart about 2 months after installing the gauge and the gauge said batteries were full and by the time I rode around my neighborhood 1x my cart ran out of power and the gauge didnโt tell me it was close to being out. In fact told me the cart was 80% full. I bought brand new batteries and got in the cart 2 weeks ago and the cart said batteries were only halfway charged. I got the electric meter out and all 4 batteries were at 12v (48v) cart but the gauge said is only halfway charged still. The cart has been fully charged the last 3 times I have used the cart but still only says halfway charged and doesnโt go down when I use the cart and go below halfway. The gauge doesnโt work well at all

It worksโฆ sorta
This is a nice looking power meter and is easy enough to wire. Ground to ground, positive to positive and to the key switch. It turns on and seems to provide a close level of power availabilityโฆ until you go to recharge your cart. When the cart is fully charged and you turn everything on, the meter will show where it was last positioned. Meaning if you drew down to 50% power and the. Recharge, it will show only 50% when the cart is actually fully charged. Another commenter stated if you disconnect the ground and reconnect it resets. I did this and indeed it does reset, but this seems somewhat cumbersome to do every time after a charge. I ordered another unit to confirm this is indeed not a โmeโ problem but rather a product issue.

Works great
I read some bad reviews how it doesn't work, it works great for me pretty accurate too. You have some super nerds want it to be extremely precise to the point they are making formulas, equations and s*** in order to proof how it's not 100% accurate. It's not going in a Tesla I just need it to tell me when it's low (beer math). For you out there that are confused on how to install it well here is the simple solution. Wire the + and - straight to batteries (mine it's a 48v) the C terminal hook it to one of the wire in the ignition( the one that gives you 12v when you turn the ignition) use a volt meter I just rolled the dice on mine and I ended up hooking it up to the wrong wire so I just wired it to the other one (only had two wires I had a 50/50 chance).

Works well
Easy install. My cart only had two leads, one from ignition and a ground. I jumped lead from ignition to both terminals. Happy with purchase.

need help
Hello I ordered the Runleader 48V LED Battery Capacity Indicator, Battery Charge &Discharge Meter and installed on my golf cart. ( cutting a hole in the dash of the cart) the meter showed full battery on my new trojan batteries. the meter after using the cart kept showing full battery then just stopped working all together. I believe i received a faulty. meter. I am asking for a replacement part please. returning the faulty is not a problem.
