I step out of them all the time. I either need a 10.5 size or thick socks **Q: I wear a size 14, will the XL fit?** A: These slippers are definitely an odd fit. I wear a size 11, so I purchased the 11-12 size, and they were too small by a fairly wide margin. They were also too narrow, although they probably would've widened over time. So, I returned those and purchased the 13-14 size, and those were way too big. **Q: is it washable** A: Hi chente,Yes, our slippers are machine washable. **Q: Manufacturered USA?** A: While I am unsure as to where they are manufactured, the quality of the sole and stitching is good if quality is a concern. They are comfortable and seem to be well made. Not sure if the memory foam is from China or somewhere else. There is no strong chemical smell though.
