It works better in room temperature water, and you need to keep shaking it periodically until all of the clumps dissolve. Sometimes I could not get entire chunks of it to dissolve, it just stayed in kind of a gummy chunk. For that reason I switched to a different type of electrolyte drink, but at least I know there's not a bunch of other stuff added to make it dissolve better. But it's definitely not something you can make quickly seeing as how you need to give it a considerable amount of time to dissolve.
