They're not paper thin. They appear to be the typical weight as any others, but I can't' verify that as I'm not sure I've used the Smead brand. I will continue to use these, because of the good value. **Q: What are the package dimesnions and weight?** A: Dimensions are 9 1/2 x 12 inches. Weight I don’t know.
