Quick & Effortless Times Two!
I recently found myself in need of a rapid COVID-19 test and stumbled upon the On/Go One test on Amazon. It proved to be a lifesaver, so I decided to purchase the On/Go 2 test packet when I needed more tests. I was immediately impressed with the packaging and design of the tests, which stood out from other rapid tests that I have used in the past. The On/Go 2 test packet comes in a small box, which is convenient for storage and transportation. The design of the test is simple and easy to use, making it accessible for anyone to perform the test. I found the quality of the test to be high compared to other rapid tests that I have used in the past, and the fact that there are two tests in each packet is a bonus. One aspect of the On/Go 2 test packet that impressed me was the iOS app that comes with it. The app provides guided instructions on how to perform the test, which makes the process even easier. The app also helps in interpreting the test results, which can be a bit tricky with other rapid tests. I did not know about the app when I purchased the On/Go One test, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover it with the On/Go 2 test packet. There is one concern I had with the On/Go 2 test packet, which is the expiration date of September 2022. I contacted On/Go for a refund because I was worried about the validity of the test results. However, they assured me that the expiration date is not a problem and was only placed there due to restrictions. In the listing, they mentioned that the FDA granted an additional three-month shelf-life extension on August 29, 2022.Overall, I highly recommend the On/Go 2 COVID-19 Rapid Test Packet. The small box, simple design, high quality, and the iOS app make it stand out from other rapid tests in the market. The only thing that could make it better is if On/Go paid me for writing this review (just kidding!). I hope this review and the pictures I have included will be helpful to someone else in need of a reliable and easy-to-use COVID-19 rapid test.

Easy to use
This kit was great! It was easy to use, not complicated. The function was fine, did the job. For the price, yes it was worth it. I didn’t really pick it for its looks, that being said I don’t really like the packaging look. Liquid content was fine. Control line was fine. Visual quality was ugly.

Easy to use, but the app is buggy (just ignore it)
I am primary caregiver for my father who lives in a memory care unit that requires a COVID test each visitation day, so I test frequently. I am also a lab scientist for 20+ years. Since I have been completely asymptomatic each time I take the test, I assume that my negative test results have been accurate. A couple days ago I used the ON/GO test kit for the third time since I purchased them, and the app told me the test was expired, although the package says that it doesn’t expire until March 2022. Well it’s still January 2022, so I was curious and I wrote into the company via the app to ask why the discrepancy. I received no answer, so I assume that the app has a bug and it’s not registering the QR code correctly. While it’s possible I screwed up, if someone like me (who routinely transfers liquid samples that are 1/100 the volume required by this kit with accuracy (I run PCR tests)), I would guess this test is NOT easy to use and requires more expertise than someone with 20+ years working in a lab.

Check the expiration date
This is a Covid at-home lateral flow test like any other. I ordered it in early January when tests were impossible to find in local stores. I was pleasantly surprised it arrived as quickly as it did. Each unit has two tests in it. When they arrived, I was a bit disappointed that the expiration date was MARCH 2022 - barely three months! I had purchased two boxes (so a total of 4 tests) and wasn't sure I'd use all of them before the expiration date. Turns out that wasn't a problem. The instructions warn the positive test indicator line can be very faint. It's next to the control line that should always turn up pink. This had me a bit worried. The test cartridge is well marked to indicate where the line will be, IF it's positive. I used my reading glasses and turned on extra lights to be sure to see the lines up close, and I was still concerned it might be a faint positive. However, I think this is true for ALL lateral flow home tests, not just this one.

Why this text is different and great!
I think some of these reviewers are missing the point of the app or not using it correctly. No, you do not need to use the app if you just need a result at home. The point of the app is to be able to attend an event or place where a negative covid test within 24-48 hours may be required. Simple and easy to do this at home and the. Have a clear “passport” that is valid to use at such events. The only information you are giving is your name and birthdate (so that your I.D. can verify when you are required to show someone. I have not been charged extra using app. And it’s very easy and quick. We’ve had to use these multiple times for kids and other family members and no issues. Much easier than having to go to a testing place and wait for results and pay more money.

Some improvements needed...
Here's my overall take on this test kit:The good:1. A quick 10-minute read (compared to most other tests which are 15 mins).2. A nucleocapsid-based antigen test, which allows the test to detect all COVID-19 variants.3. Lists out potentially harmful surfactants used in the liquid reagents.4. Liquid reagent is already inside the testing tube and does not require filling or mixing.5. Bars are clear to read.6. No app is required for the test (only a stopwatch is needed). The not so good:1. The dropper tip is not wrapped in any packaging, but instead just thrown inside the package.2. The contents are inserted into the package upside down, meaning if you tried to open the package and drag the contents out with the front of the package facing you, all of the contents will simply fall out onto the ground. This already happened to me a few times. Since the dropper tip is not protected with packaging, it may affect the quality of the results presented if you were to use that now contaminated tip.3. Short expiration date (even with the extended expiration dates, these tests are still a few months shorter in expiration than the more common iHealth tests).4. Shipped from the factory with economy DHL shipping - takes about 2 weeks to arrive from the date of order. Not so good if you are running out of tests and need some quick.5. You don't always get a fresh batch even though it is shipped directly from the manufacturer. Mine was already a few months old when I got them from the manufacturer.6. More expensive than the iHealth tests for a 2 pack (and subsequently more sales tax if your state charges sales tax).7. The FDA EUA lists the test under AccessBio, which is the manufacturer for these tests. Some insurance companies, unaware of the On/Go relationship with this entity, may decline claims stating that these tests are not under FDA EUA. As an example, HealthNet has already declined two of my claims for these tests for that reason, and probably means you may need to fight to get claims paid if your insurance company tends to nitpick as far as what tests are allowed under the plan. Do note that most insurance will count this kit as being 2 tests, and most will not cover sales tax and shipping from your costs, even if the cost is below $12/test (note that the government actually requires insurance companies to pay both shipping and taxes, although many insurers either don't know about this requirement or is choosing to ignore it).8. The cotton tip is significantly larger than the iHealth tip and is slightly more uncomfortable when conducting the swab.9. Excessive plastic packaging that I think is pretty wasteful.

Quick. Accurate. Reliable.
I saw bad reviews on this product. My girlfriend bought a box to try out and we ended up needing them because clinics were packed. People were saying parts came missing in their kit. My sons school gave me a test kid for home that was sealed and missing the test plates for droplets. There have been faulty kits going around. I ordered 3 more boxes because everything was in the kit I used from Amazon. The results were accurate. The test kit was easy to use. None of my kids came with missing pieces as you can see in the pictures. The app allows you to take pics and keep record of your positive/negative results in a file that you can present to restaurants or places who require it. I can say I am happy with my purchase overall. For some it’s easier to use than others.

A cut above the rest
On/Go has made testing easy, accessible, and stress-free. The availability of On/Go is, first and foremost, one of the product's many strengths. While we handle this recent surge of cases, the demand for rapid testing has increased exponentially. What I appreciate about On/Go is that I can find inventory in stores, on Amazon, and on their website. Secondly, their app makes it easy to recall past tests in an instant and I don't have to look at a calendar to figure out when I last tested and what those results were. I had COVID a few weeks ago, and I was in dire need of rapid testing to navigate my holiday schedule, and On/Go was the only product that I was looking for. I ordered tests on Amazon and through their website, and I had the product within 3-4 days. I thank them for helping me get home safely to spend time with my loved ones for the holidays.
