The battery was likely dead when I tried to reprogram so it failed. Once I found a video of how to reprogram my key on YouTube, the guy suggested replacing the battery. Once I replace the battery with a new one, the reprogramming worked within one try. I found no issues with the valet key fitting or locking into place. Very nice product! Get in car with both old fobs that work and set down somewhere in car. Let screens/accessory power turn off. Put NEW fob in center console key area (key ring be at the rear with the buttons facing toward the right-hand side). 2. Press driver or passenger unlock button 3 times 3. Press brake pedal once 4.
