Singer 9960
Just got my singer sewing mechanic 9960 today the packing was not great but I accept that was the only way to send it there was a a big half hole in cardboard on side of the box.not you could see in the the box.Sewing mechanic is working well and wife is happy with it. Would I recommend to people yes. Over all I am happy and my wife is too. Very happy over all.

Buy a voltage corrector too If you are using it in the UK.
Purchased it from the United States. Took a week to arrive here. I knew it was only 110 V, so purchased a voltage corrector from Amazon at the same time for £35 and it all works perfectly. Quite a bargain really knowing what the UK price Is.

UK buyers don't buy this from Amazon
Bought this for my wife as it looked amazing and the price was much cheaper than from Singer. It arrived on 14/10/19 but straight away there was a problem. It had an american power cable and no UK plug. Spoke to Amazon several times on 15/10/19 who assured me that it just needed a US to UK converter plug. Ordered that on 15/10/19 and it arrived today and it does not work. Phoned Singer UK who stated they have had to deal with lots of disappointed customers who have purchased through Amazon. We are now having the hassle of having to arrange to return it to Amazon because they do not arrange the collection and sending it back to the USA can cost from £55 to £107. Very disappointed with Amazon

Amazon have mis sold this product. It is only for use in the US! Totally useless in the UK. Nowhere in the description does it say that it is not suitable for the uk! Why have a product for sale in the uk if you can’t use it! Currently waiting for it to be collected and for my refund!!! Feeling very angry and disappointed!!!

Super Nähmaschine mit tollen Programmen
Endlich wieder Spaß beim Nähen!! Die Nähmaschine Singer 9960 wird mit Handbuch geliefert, in dem alles super einfach und klar erklärt wird. Der automatische Fadenabschneider macht seine Arbeit richtig gut und das Einfädeln, sowie das Einsetzen der Unterspule ist einfach und schnell erledigt. Allerdings braucht man beim Einfädeln des Fadens in die Nadel ein bißchen Geduld: am Anfang wollte mir es nicht gelingen, aber mit ein wenig Übung kann ich jetzt sagen, dass der "automatische Einfädler" genauso gut und schnell funktioniert, wie bei meiner alten Maschine und ich hoffe, ich kann mit der Singer genauso lange nähen, wie mit eben jener.Ich kann diese Singer-Nähmaschine mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen, ist m.A. nach auf für Anfänger geeignet, da man jeden Schritt, bzw. jedes Näh- und Stickmuster gut nachlesen kann.
