If you are planning to keep rice or other whole grains in these containers, it might work for you. But, for pet food, i will not recommend this at all. It's far from being air tight. Doesn't keep the kibbles fresh. I'm not sure how the dog owners keep their kibbles in it, but for my cats, the kibbles start feeling soft, even when i keep them with their bag inside. It fits 6.5 kg bag of kitten kibbles, but the 7 kg adult kibbles bag won't fit. Lids are okayish but don't fit snug and can be easily opened with the slightest of nudges. The appearance is good, quality of plastic is average. It's Made in China. Only buy it if you are wanting something to look neat in your household. Else it is useless and overpriced.
