I highly recommend this if you need to connect and disconnect hoses and sprayer handles quickly. It’s very secure and better to use than plastic ones I’ve used in the past. It doesn’t leak for most of the attachments but for one of them it has a small dribble—I think it’s more of the hose’s issue and not a reflection on this connectors. These are high quality and I absolutely love them!

These were great for an RV quick and easy hook up for all my things. I can hook up a water filter. hose to flush the system a hose for drinking water and so on

I got these brass quick connectors to supplement my supply of aluminum quick-connects (QCs). Nope. The fittings do NOT match up with the aluminum connectors (with black rubber gripper bands in pic). I was surprised that they DO fit with existing plastic connectors. Two aspects I did not expect: 1. The fittings do not mix/match with my existing aluminum QCs. They do mix/match with existing plastic QCs. Like the plastic QCs, they are harder to attach. The O ring must be seated well for the QC to seal. Half the sets leaked on the first try, but sealed on the 2nd try. This was the case when I attached brass to brass and when I attached brass to plastic. Likely I will have to replace O rings within a year. 2. Existing aluminum sets have the male part of the QC set attached to the hose-end device (here, sprayer). These brass sets have the female part of the QC set attached to the sprayer. I have some plastic sets with female attaching to the sprayer and some with male attaching to sprayer. For these two reasons, I will use these connectors in a specific set of 4 hoses that I use, always and only, with one manifold and 4 specific sprayers. They will not be in the general population of garden hose equipment. The pieces appear to be well made. They do not have rubbery ridges on outer surfaces, so they are harder to handle when working with wet hands. These solid brass connectors should hold up well to routine weather and yard abuse. The current price (less than $20 for a set of 6 connector pairs), provides a good value IF you do not need to mix and match with aluminum, and if you do not often need to disconnect/ re-connect. ADDED: If you need a male/male or female/female connector for a garden hose, of course you will go to a hardware store and get a good quality part. But today I needed a temporary ‘just need this right now’ setup. I used the right-ward (to me) plastic connectors with the backwards (to me) brass connectors. Problem solved. Rating: good My scale: 5 star = excellent (or has a special feature), 4 star = good/ very good (does what it should), 3 star = average (or has a minor flaw), 2 star = below average (multiple flaws or does not perform its function well), 1 star = avoid (does not fulfill its mission). I rarely use the term ‘perfect’ and I rarely assign 5 stars.

They work well enough. I would buy them again if needed.

This thing rocks. I use them to connect my water hose to my pressure washer. So far no leaks. It easily detaches which is essential when time is limited. I am not going back to my previous ones.
