It works and it’s cool!
This is quite possibly the best thing I have ever bought myself. I am terribly excited. The only issue is that I have run out of things to label, so I labelled the embosser, the ‘embosser’. Yes ok, now and again the odd letter is a bit skew-whiff. Yes it hurts your hand a bit if you go mental and make loads of labels. But it works, it was cheap, it’s easy to use and I actually understood the instructions. It seems to have better reviews than other brands. I’d say buy it because if you want some cool, retro labels for stuff, then this is perfect. Does anyone want me to make a label for them? Let me know. I’m available for weddings, funerals, bar mitzvah’s….

Easy to use
It does the job, you get spare tape with it. Very easy to use. Prints well.

Absolutely Rubbish
Absolutely rubbish. The machine only Lasted a day before it stopped working. This was part of my son’s birthday present. He’s very disappointed.

Great Product Great Price
Great Product, does its job well. No batteries required its mechanical. Good quality labels that stick well. Print Quality great. Print speed depends on your dexterity as it's mechanical.

Easy 4* Product (if you have an idea of what to expect)
I bought this Label Maker for my ever growing retro SNES game collection, I place the game cartridges in a clear plastic Game Cartridge Protector & with some 49 games & counting in their individual clear cases mentioned & maybe visible in the photos provided they all go into a large storage box & I’m on layer 3 of games now & as seen as an example in the photos provided (an extremely small example) they all look the exact same from above so I bought this Label Maker to clearly label the games for easy picking in the future instead of rifling through a load of games, that’s all it was bought for nothing else & I’ll leave a few pros, cons, usage tips to maybe aid fellow consumers here on Amazon both with purchase decision & usage: Pro’s: It’s a relatively inexpensive product, it does the job, if you’re unhappy with the label when you’ve placed it (say it’s uneven, or mispelt) the labels are easy to remove not long after placing & they leave no sticky residue behind, when you’ve finished your label & select cut there’s an easy peel section left on the Label (pictured) where you cut so you can take the backing straight off & the products spare/additional rolls aren’t very expensive either. Con’s: Spaces as in the space bar option on the turn wheel menu of letters, numbers & symbols take up a lot of space meaning wasted tape, the product itself feels flimsy but you get used to that, the lettering colouring is sometimes off or rather uneven often only partially highlighting the stamped letter, number, symbol. A Big annoyance for me is that it has an @ symbol but no apostrophe?! When are you going to use an @ symbol labelling jars with food ingredients in or items with names on? A Few TIPS: When you’ve made a label the next time that you’re making another press the space key as you’ll just end up getting half of the next letter, number, symbol that you’ve typed next , without a space press (& we can’t have half an @ symbol can we, no one would know what was happening, yes that @ symbol it really bugs me) yeah just space bar it for a new label, I found that equal pressure applied rapidly leaves very good highlighted markings or applying that method at the bottom of the trigger (pictured) for a change leaves bright markings too, when you’ve finished your label don’t press the cut (scissors) key down too hard as it leaves multiple markings on the end of the label you’ve created & when a roll of tape runs out take out the loose translucent plastic piece that’s inside the products handle as that’s the empty tape holder that held the tape that you’ve used, it took me a short while to figure that out as it’s not instructed & I didn’t want to pull the thing to pieces, so finally when you have your label printed & stuck on how you want it run your fingernail along the top of the markings then beneath them too also carefully run your fingernail up alongside the markings & your fingertip over spaces to get the maximum amount of the adhesive side of your Label onto whatever it is that you’re sticking a Label on to. Mine works fine although I didn’t get excellent markings every time they’re all readable so job done plus I knew exactly what type of Label it was going to produce & I personally chose that over a Bluetooth label printer, it just made more sense to me, maybe it was something nostalgic about it? Maybe it made sense with the 32y/o Retro Games from the early to mid 90’s? Anyway again it’s done its job & will continue to do so I reckon as my collection grows. I’ll easy 4* this product, it’s not bad, it’s not bad at all, it’s doing the job now as good as new with some 55 labels made minus the oh so many with mistakes in the spelling or a lack of a space bar press, etc , strangely it’s quite relaxing using it when you know you have a good few labels to make. EDIT: 80 SNES game labels made with many mistakes getting made by myself using the product & the label maker is working perfectly fine & I’m still on my second roll of tape, not bad hey, I highly recommend this product.

Quality could be better
I used this for a week or so and after the first few uses the letters became quite spaced out and would get stuck. It looks a little tacky when printed out, I actually had to send this back in the end. Would be fine for a kids art project or something but wouldn’t work for high quality items.

Obsessed
I love this thing. I use it all the time and still haven’t run out of the refills it came with. My boyfriend likes to bring up to guests how I made our spice collection look so much better with this lol. It’s very straight forward to use. Adhesion is strong but not a pain to remove either, if necessary. Sometimes, when you use the cut function, it will trap some of the tape inside and jam up the dial. I included a picture (the one with tape sticking out of the dial). It happens a lot so I think it’s worth noting. Personally, considering the price I don’t think it’s a big deal because it’s an easy fix and then continues to function as it should. My last label maker needed an app to function and the laser “ink” would rub off pretty quickly. I just love the simplicity and reliability of this thing. If you have the patience for a label maker like this, I highly recommend it 😊

A scrapbooking need
Great for scrapbooking. Need to glue or tape the labels down as they're not sticky. The occasional misscut, just make sure to add some space before you cut the label to avoid letters being cut off.

Does the trick, but a bit finicky
Tape slip sometimes and the cut sometimes isn’t clean. Some letters come out inconsistently so not great if you expect perfect results but good enough if you are ok with redoing it sometimes and not having the letters even. When the tape slips you get overlapping letters or they are very wonky. When the cut isn’t clean a piece comes off and if you’re lucky it falls out but it often sticks to the tape and at some point you get it attached to the piece you are typing out and you have to start again.

Ok product with a number of quirks.
It does the job, but has some issues. Buy it if you are prioritizing the look of the embossed label. The knobs become misaligned if you're doing more than a label or two it seems. This is easy to fix but annoying. It's slow (that's a given) The label rolls it comes with don't have a very sticky backing. I've added some double sided tape to most of the labels I've made. I use these in my workshop so fluctuating temperatures might contribute to this. The cutter always seems to cut too close to the last letter so I often add an additional space...and then have to re trim the labels. The more I write the more I'm thinking maybe this is 2 stars, but I do still use the thing...

Great organizational tool, comes with so much tape!
Would give this 20 stars if I could. I use this to label everything, and the tape never seems to run out!! Plus it comes with so many refills so I think this will last me many many years. Great organizational tool and easy to use once you get the hang of it! Tape sticks to pretty much anything you need it to, and hasn’t caused any damage for removal. Just be careful when you remove the tape from a surface, if the corner pokes under your nail, it’s a little sharp.
