TATTMUSE 100 Pcs Thermal Printer Paper 8.5 x 11 for A285M A28U A282M A281M Thermal paper, for those who aren’t familiar with it, works with inkless thermal printers. As far as I know, they don’t work with anything else or any other type of printer—just the thermal type. And guess what? You’re gonna be paying a lot more for thermal paper than regular paper. From what I understand, this is what most people use when they’re printing shipping labels on eBay or UPS or any other tracking-type system. This is not the paper for that. You could do your shipping labels off this thermal paper, but I think you might be paying for a lot of wasted paper because these are going to be 8½ by 11 standard. You gotta remember to load this paper the way it says, otherwise you’re not gonna get the desired effect on the printer. You’re only going to get black and white… in a wonderful world of color that we have now. I’m not even sure why you would purchase this unless you absolutely have to have a thermal printer for some reason—which I’m trying to figure out why. OK, so I understand now why I would want a thermal printer: you’re never gonna have to buy ink, so that’s a good thing. So if you’re traveling and you’ve got your thermal paper (a 100-pack here) and your thermal printer, as long as you’ve got power to your printer you’ve got “ink” coming down. And since there’s no ink cartridges, your thermal printer has fewer parts that actually break down, which is good. The other good thing about these thermal print papers is they’re fast and they’re quiet. So maybe you have to print out something and you don’t want to make a lot of noise—then you go. But I’m just still not sure. You’re paying a lot more for the paper, which costs a little under $19.00, as opposed to 500 pages of regular printer paper which would probably cost me about $10. So to me that’s five times the money. If you bought that much it would be over $100.00 for the same amount of paper. Hold on, let’s do the math. So yeah, you’re paying about $100 for the same 500 pages. I don’t know… I don’t think this is cheaper than regular ink that you’re going to be able to print a lot more on with regular printers. But I just want you to be aware of that.

This item is great in almost every way (size, ease of physical setup, comes with paper, no ink required, decent battery life), but the ONE THING I needed it for doesn't work. The app is only available on the Google Play or App Store, not on the Microsoft Store. I bought this to help my students at writing tournaments where they have to bring their own printers (stupid, yes, but that's the rule), and this was supposed to be my solution. If it actually connected to our devices, this would be perfect, but it doesn't, so it's basically useless. I'm giving it one star mostly because the ad images for this product specifically show users connecting this to a non-Google laptop. Can't comment on print quality since I couldn't even get the thing to connect. Once again, false advertising trash from some company with a Chinese name. What a disappointment.

Great idea. But the paper comes out rolled up like a scroll. So, it is impossible to print something and use it the way people use paper in this century. In addition to this, the app suuuuuucks. Any cool features come at an additional cost.

I keep a letter sized thermal printer in my backpack when I head out to my cabin for the rare occasion that I need to print something out in the woods. Believe it or not, it does happen. A shopping list for my 30 mile drive to the hardware store for roofing supplies, a to-do list so I make the most of my time there, or whatever. The video shows me prionting one such list from my laptop. I'm not reviewing the printer here, just the paper. This was a really handy 100count pack. The paper is thin enough that I can keep 15-20 sheets wrapped around the printer in it's little travel case so it doesn't take up to puch space. It prints great, and is still thick enough to feel like the weight of regular paper, except you obviously can't print duplex on it. The detail was fine, indistigushable from most normal printers, and I'm guessing that the dpi is more a function of the printer than it is of the paper. While certainly more expensive than ordinary copy paper, the convenience of a portable thermal printer outweighs that cost. For me, a couple of dimes per sheet is a small price to pay for the convenience, so I count this package as a good by. My use of the thermal paper is infrequent enough that the 100 count pack will probably last me several months.

Don't buy this one. First, it does not feed the paper right. If you don't feed it, then open it and straighten the paper, everything will be crooked. The print quality is horrible, even at the best setting. The special paper you have to use can only be printed on one side. Both sides feel exactly the same so I have to mark the proper side with a pencil before using the page so that I don't accidentally try to print on the wrong side, which I did over and over again at first. (Because it does not feed the paper in right, I have to feed the paper in page by page, fixing each one before printing the next page.) The app to print is annoying. Ads you have to get through first, it forgets my printer and I have to upload everything I want to print to the app in order to print it. I like that there is no ink. It stays charged a while. It is great as an emergency printer where you just need to print text. You can also see the battery life in the app. I am sure there are great versions of this, but this one is not it.

Was excited to get the printer. Followed the instructions, removed the protective paper, paired the printer to my phone and downloaded my document to the print queue. Everything worked like a charm, could hear the document printing and as the paper came out, the page was BLANK! Unsure why, it doesn't require ink?!?!? Called support and they sent me a second printer. Got it connected and SAMETHING happened. Nothing is printing on paper but paper is coming out...I'm baffled. Returning this second printer a second time. Support is great with troubleshooting and gave me a refund.

Quality paper for my TATTMUSE printer! What I appreciate most is the way they package the paper. I Live in Arizona which is like living in a thermal printer!! Other thermal receipts left in the car or in the elements turn black in no time. They ship the paper, flat, in-between two protective cardboard sheets packaged in a foil/reflective wrapper. The package sat outside on my porch an entire afternoon with ZERO issues! I am happy with my haul... way better than the rolls of paper for these printers that ultimately result in everything you print looking like a scroll!

Piccola e maneggevole fa il suo mestiere per il prezzo. Stampa anche veloce. Unico suggerimento: molto meglio usare fogli singoli e non il rotolo, perché la carta tende ad arrotolarsi. Absolutely amazing! The print is clear, fast, and compact. The instructions are easy to follow and available in several languages that’s a big plus. Esto es una opinión honesta y basada en mi experiencia. Las fotos, datos y descripción del anunciante son fieles a la realidad. He estado usando esta impresora térmica portátil de TATTMUSE sobre todo con Mac y iPhone, que es mi entorno habitual, y la conexión ha sido rápida, estable y sin líos. Se agradece que no haya que instalar mil cosas ni pelearse con configuraciones raras. Descargas la app, emparejas por Bluetooth y ya estás imprimiendo. Lo mejor de esta impresora es que te olvidas completamente de los cartuchos de tinta. Funciona solo con papel térmico, y eso ya te quita de encima el típico marrón de que se seque la tinta o que no tengas recambios. Además, es tan ligera que la puedes llevar donde quieras. Cabe en la mochila, aguanta bien la batería y viene con una funda rígida que te permite llevarla con todo lo necesario (papel, cable, adaptador) sin que se dañe. En cuanto a calidad, imprime texto muy limpio, con buena nitidez, sin manchas ni pixelados raros. Aunque está pensada para documentos, me ha sorprendido cómo se comporta también con archivos que tienen fotos. Obviamente no es una impresora fotográfica, pero incluso en esos casos da un resultado bastante decente para ser térmica y monocromo. Yo la he usado para imprimir documentos con imágenes incluidas, y no ha quedado nada mal. Admite varios tamaños de papel térmico, no solo A4: puedes usar rollos, hojas sueltas o papel continuo en medidas como US Letter, 110 mm, 80 mm y 53 mm. Eso te da margen para distintos usos, desde imprimir un informe hasta etiquetas o notas rápidas. Solo hay que tener en cuenta que, al usar papel térmico, las hojas pueden curvarse un poco al salir, sobre todo si usas rollo. No molesta, pero es algo a considerar si buscas una presentación más “plana”. La impresión no es completamente silenciosa, hace algo de ruido, pero nada que moleste. El diseño del equipo está bien pensado, los botones responden bien y la funda lo protege todo sin ocupar mucho. No hay mantenimiento, no hay tinta, no hay complicaciones. Funciona como promete. Yo la uso sobre todo para imprimir cosas del día a día, como facturas o tíquets, sin depender de una impresora grande o fija, y se ha convertido en una herramienta que realmente me hace más fácil el trabajo. La recomiendo por lo práctica que es, por lo bien que se integra con Mac e iPhone, y por cómo resuelve la necesidad de imprimir sin tener que estar pendiente de nada. Muy contento y muy recomendable.
