Blue Lock 4

Description

A mad young coach gathers soccer players from across the country to compete in a series of bizarre challenges in a high-tech colosseum he calls Blue Lock. It's a no-balls-barred battle to become Japan's next top striker, in this Squid Game –meets–soccer manga, now available in print! Anime airing now! WOULD YOU PLAY IF YOU'RE THE WEAKEST? It's the final round of the first selection and Team Z needs to win against Team V--the undefeated team of Wing 5--to survive! A triple threat awaits Isagi, including prodigy Seishiro Nagi, who only started playing soccer six months ago. Moreover, Team Z is still one man down after Kuon's brutal betrayal in the previous game. The odds are stacked against them as they enter the pitch, and Isagi and his teammates are becoming painfully aware of how weak they really are. In this end, is it all pointless? Or will desperation triumph over talent? Review: Exhilarating experience reading this Volume - Let's start with the unpleasent part. Kodansha Comics who prints this manga has really bad quality control and therefore it's possible that the print of the pages isn't always perfect. Other than that however this manga is absolutely worth the price. The artstyle of the author is unique and in my opionion stands out to that of other manga authors. What I specifically like about Blue Lock are the drawn effect that make it look like the story is supernatural when in reality it isn't. The anime adaptation of Blue Lock was unfortunatelly a fail in my opinion and there were too many CGI scnenes that were made really poorly. Consequently, I felt like I had to buy the manga in order to experienve this manga to the fullest and it truly did not dissapoint. The more you read it the more interesting the storyline gets and there is never a boring chapter. Moreover, I also think that the side characters are all so well written to the point where with some of the you get the feeling that they might be the main characters. All in all I can only recommend this piece of art, except for the quality control of the publishing company there is nothing you can complain about. Review: Blue Lock Vol. 4: The Stakes Keep Rising - Blue Lock Vol. 4 takes the high-intensity soccer competition to a whole new level, delivering an exhilarating blend of strategy, skill, and character growth. The stakes are higher than ever as Isagi and his teammates face off against even stronger opponents, forcing them to push their limits both mentally and physically. This volume does an excellent job of balancing action-packed matches with deeper character moments. Isagi’s growth as a player continues to shine, and his ability to read the field and make game-changing decisions is both thrilling and inspiring. Meanwhile, the rivalries and alliances within Team Z add layers of tension and excitement, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. Yusuke Nomura’s artwork is as dynamic as ever, perfectly capturing the intensity of each play and the emotions driving the players. The story’s unique approach to soccer—treating it like a battle for survival—remains fresh and engaging, making this a must-read for sports manga fans. Vol. 4 of Blue Lock is a fantastic continuation of the series, blending high-stakes competition with personal growth and jaw-dropping moments. It’s a thrilling ride that leaves you eager to see what happens next.
