Questionable longevity...
When these work, they work very well. However, were had 2 of the 4 wireless receivers die unexpectedly. There service group has replaced them, but every time we turn them on we wonder if another will die or not. Our confidence in the quality is low...

1 of 16 mics dead on arrival, Support is really good
We bought these as a school district during the pandemic to use streaming school board meetings. At first I was disappointed. One of the mics arrived nonfunctional. I called them a week later and was very satisfied with the support. I am in IT and rarely get such a pleasant and informed tech on the other end. He not only sent out a replacement the same day, he talked to me about an issue I was having with the signal to noise ratio. Most of our board members understand to keep the mics somewhat close, but there are several that push it away as soon as they sit down. For them, I have to use the old fashioned boundary mics and wonder if they really want to be heard at all. I think the issue is psychological. Many people just don't want to think about the mics and really don't want anything 6" away from their faces. These are not the mics you want for that situation unless you have a decent digital mixer with a spectral analyzer and dugan-style automix feature. The Behringer X-Air series work well in mitigating the issues of the very far away voices. despite what you read in other reviews, they have a cardioid polar pattern. They just aren't very sensitive. Our board room tables are set in a horseshoe pattern and the members sit 4'-6' apart. when only one person is talking, their far away voice is typically caught by 5 mics. This isn't an issue with the automix, but could rapidly lead to clipping without it. Here is a quick intro to automix: https://mct-master.github.io/portal/2019/09/10/Automix.html The noise on the signal isn't bad for those speakers who understand how to use a mic. For those who don't, we use the EQ features of the mixer to block out anything that isn't their voice. the spectral analyzer helps with that, though it is not an exact science. We end up tailoring each mic channel to each specific board member and label them so they can be placed easily. This is something that is easy to do within the first 3 or so minutes of them speaking alone. So, if you are willing to do the extra work on the mixer, or if you have reasonable, intelligent people that will account for their microphones and take instruction, these are just fine, especially for this price. You really don't want to have to price out a professional system from Shure or one of their competitors for a 16 mic wireless boardroom tabletop system on a limited school district budget.
