It will travel good as well. The letters are super tight like another reviewer said, which is great! I don't think we will be losing the letter pieces any time soon. Even though the letters are tight, my 3 year old was still able to pull them out and put them back in. Mr pencil is tethered to the toy, and won't get lost. It has several different games and both of my girls have loved playing with them. My older girls have enjoyed helping their siblings as well. The age range is spot on. My 3 year old enjoys the hands on puzzle aspect of it and all the different songs. She isn't coordinated enough to draw the letters or pictures too good, but she has fun trying. My 4 year old loves trying to write all the letters, and is doing quite well. It is interesting enough that it can hold their attention for a good half hour, and they will play with it on their own. Interacting and helping them with it makes it even more educational. I really think this toy will help them learn their alphabet. I love that the letter pieces are capitals. Because usually we teach capital letter first. They do have a button for drawing lower case letters as well though. Probably my favorite feature is that it teaches your child how to draw letter animals. That feature alone will make this toy last longer. My older kids 9 and 6 love that aspect. The only thing I wish is that they had made the letters magnetic, then they could have been letter stamps as well. Overall it's a great toy, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
