All good I thought. Then I moved up to decent quality banana plugs both ends. My system sounded better I thought and remained that way for many years. Lately, I experienced some static, and an occaisional drop in sound from the left front (loose banana). I have two SVS SB3000 subs in my 7.2 system but wasn't getting optimal sound from them compared to their rave reviews. I had them connected using cheap, generic RCA cables, (big mistake). One review mentioned SVS SoundPath RCA cables, so I decided to give them a try. I can tell you, what a HUGE improvement! Opened those subs right up! Smooth, deep base and absolutely no noise. That convinced me to replace my LCR cables with SVS SoundPath cables. My fronts are bi-amped from my Denon AVR. I went with the banana/spade style. A total game changer! My Paradigm's opened right up! I stream from an Apple TV 4K. I replaced that connection with an SVS SoundPath Ultra HDMI cable. Immediately, the soundstage became full and clear, with the slight noise I had attributed to background track noise gone. My system now sounds...Beautiful!
