I love my Boly. I’m buying the third one today. As you can see it takes great wild game pictures , biggest Bobcat I’ve ever seen , froze the Rabbit in mid-air as he was jumping the stream, and my first set of triplets Fawns ever. I have several Does roaming my woods and twins are common but not triplets. If you look closely at the Rabbit pic you can see te Cuddie cam on the tree in front of the chair aimed strait at the Boly. It did not get the Bobcat, Rabbit, or the deer. If not for Boly I wouldn’t have 3 of my most precious pictures., I have 2 Cuddieback cams and the Boly, Boly takes twice as many pics as the Cuddies put together and better quality the range is unbelievable. I’m replacing one of the Cuddies with this one and when I run out of replaceable flashes I will the other.The first Boly flash gave out in about 4 months, this is really common as do the Cuddies do a lot, but the difference is I sent this one back and in a week they sent me a new one no questions asked. I do around a 150 + pictures a 24- to 36 hours and it is going strong.I have a Cuddle on a tree straight across from it and it does maybe 50 the same time as the Boly is doing the 150. Great camera and easy to set up, takes maybe 10 min for me to change the SD card and ready for the next cat, deer fox or whatever.

Took great color photos & videos both day & night. Unfortunately it was destroyed by water damage from rain after the warranty had expired. Apparently the rubber gasket on the door was inadequate. I have 4 cams by Moultrie that are cheap models that are twice as old and never leak. Unfortunately the quality of photos on the cheap Moltries is inferior, but at least they still work.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this BOLY trail camera and found it very impressive. While I do not do any hunting or professional photography, I have this camera simply set up on a tree to see wildlife that may pass by during the day or night. I have been able to capture pretty clear and detailed images of birds, raccoons, and even skunks around the area. The night vision feature is also impressive, allowing for great low-light conditions and even in total darkness.One thing that stands out is the simplicity of the camera, the camera was basically ready to use out of the box but I did tweak some of the settings to my liking. The instructions were clear and there are also videos and instructions on their website that helped as well.Overall, I am happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend this camera to other outdoor enthusiasts.

Love these cameras. Bought them specifically for color shots at night of wildlife. Takes nice clear pictures. Well constructed. I have bought four of them so far.

The videos when it does work, which was rare, were blurry and the sound garbled. But the must aggravating factor was it kept saying inset SD Card, when the SD Card was in fact inserted and was formatted by the camera. The camera itself was very cheaply made, and would not have last. Save your money and buy a different camera.

I tried half a dozen brands. Boly wins hands down. It's reliable, takes good pics, uses the XENON flash for still shots (less likely to spook game and freezes motion when LED lights don't), has a powerful flash (I had to tape wax paper over it at first so the deer would get used to it), simple, affordable, easy to set up, has a standard mount, just nothing bad to say about this great camera.

I wanted a cheap trail camera to scout for animal activity on my property. The camera has LED's, and capacitor based flashes. I generally want the animal to about 12-15 feet from the camera. Both flash choices overexpose the pictures greatly, making them all but unusable. I can't imagine using both at the same time, though that is an option. I solved this somewhat by taping a piece of a plastic milk jug over the flash window. I'm still getting some shots with over-exposure, but photos are usable. Still tweeking.The quality of the photos is so-so at best (daytime with good light). Night-time photos would never win a prize, but at least I can determine the species triggering the camera. Though a high megapixel value is stated for the camera, the sensor has no where near that number. Photos with the lowest setting are not sharp, and as higher pixel values are selected, the graininess never improves. Night time photos are very grainy. Any movement and the animal is blurred (see 3rd photo). The greatest problem is the overly sensitive IR sensor. Typically, I try to set cameras so that few limbs, leaves and grasses are going to set off the camera during slight breezes. There is no way to avoid all movement of plants and the changing shadows caused by their movement. When set 2-3 days, typically there are between 300-800 photos (camera is set to the least sensitive to movement). I have taped off the sensors filed of view to a small area. Still way too sensitive. I am going to try the same trick as with the flash, but probably start with a more transluent piece of plastic. Bottom line: there are better choices out there but it is buyer-beware for cheap trailcams.UPDATE. Batteries last only a few days. I'm using 2800 mA NIMH rechargeable and 3000 Lithium recargeables, and because of so many false triggers, they are exhausted in 2-3 days. I did cover the sensor with translucent plastic and that has reduced number ot vegatation and shadow movements. Will have to see how long batteries last, but I am getting photos of animals in the range I want--10 to 30 ft or so.

The camera picked up movement at 100+ feet when aimed across my yard at a street. It triggered a bit slowly for cars going over 20 mph. The images were very clear and sharp. The visible flash at night was something I had failed to appreciate when I made the order and was something that would not work for my intended use. That was my mistake,not a flaw in the unit.
