Easy install, seems good quality product (especially at this price point). I've not tested the 24/7 monitoring yet, but I'm hopeful the battery drain protection built in will work if required. So far I am happy with this product

This is the scond of these kits I have purchased. I fitted the first one into a Range Rover to power a NextBase dashcam. The size of the power block and fuse allows the cabling to be completely hidden. Total install time - under an hour. And it worked perfectly first time. It's still doing the job after 2 years. This month I bought another for my Mazda MX-5 for an Apeman dashcam and installed it in 30 minutes. Again, it worked first time and is now running perfectly. So straightforward no fitting instructions are needed. General installation demos are on YouTube - just search "dash cam hardwire install". No cables wrapped around the rear view mirror or dangling over the dash, no need to use the cigarette lighter/accessory power socket. I'm a delighted customer, I give this a 5 star rating.

Ordered this to go with an Apeman C550 on a Volvo V90. Now that I've installed it correctly (after a number of attempts) it's working well. The kit is good and includes a number of different fuse adaptors although the supplied fuse for the dashcam power has really flimsy terminals so be careful when fitting them. I installed to the fuse box under the glove box and after install I got a huge amount of interference on DAB and FM. I removed the hardwire kit and went back to cigarette lighter which helped rectify the issue but not completely. I then realised I installed the rear cam along the side of the car with the DAB aerial which was the real cause of the interference. I have now swapped the rear cam cable to the other side of the car (drivers side) and installed the hardwire kit again and everything is fine. The kit comes with some tools to help on the install although the plastic pry looks so flimsy I decided not to use that at all.The wires themselves are thin enough to hide easily in the door pillars and lining. One thing to note is it doesn't come with an electrical signal blocker / magnet thing which other kits do... that said after I installed it correctly and away from the DAB aerial I don't need it. I hope it lasts long enough for it to be worth the effort of installing a few times!

After reading a few negative reviews for the OEM Apeman wiring kit on Amazon I found this gem with great reviews! It's so versatile as it comes with the option of 4 different fuse types, therefore there should be no compatibility concerns for your vehicle. After purchase you get sent a link to the installation video, its all common sense to the DIY/hobbyist but all the same its worth watching with your user manual to hand to help identify an appropriate donor fuse slot. I completed installation of a Apeman C570 dashcam, to a 61 plate Grand C-Max fusebox in the passenger foot-well, I can confirm its definitely compatible and takes only 45 mins to do a really tidy job. Great kit, great price and worth noting great after-sales follow up. I didn't use the after-sales but these guys email you to check all is ok....they really want you to be happy with the product! Highly recommended.

It comes complete with everything you could possibly need to install your camera-every type of fuse piggyback to install directly into an acc location in the fuse box, you can be sure one of the pack will fit your car, decent length of cable to fit your cam wherever and a mini usb to micro usb conversion. Very happy with the kit, it has hardwired my camera and now no wires showing anywhere! By far one of the better kits out there and ease of installation would be a 10/10! Works perfectly - even bought another one for the rear camera.

I've recently bought a Nextbase 312G. Quality was excellent both in night and day, all for an affordable price. I did want to start using parking mode, and the other features so needed a hardwire kit. For some reason, Nextbase themselves don't sell a 1st Gen hardwire kit anymore (not on Prime too), as well as they explicitly inform you not to use the 2nd gen kit. This kit from Shishuo is very easy to fit, fitting within 30 minutes. Comes with the piggyback fuse holder required for the MG ZS EV and 4 others. The official Nextbase kit may have to order them and in the uncertain times (CoVid-19 Isolation as of March 2020), I wouldn't recommend relying on them getting back to you. I have an EV so the 12V drain isn't as much of a problem as an ICE but it does seem to do the voltage cutoff as I've started the car in the morning and the car is reporting 14V rather than below 12V. Bear in mind, however, features like parking mode are dashcam specific. A great kit and worth the money to get the additional features to work. 10/10.

I’ve got the ORSKEY S900 dashcam hardwired with the kit and it works brilliantly. The camera delivers clear 1080p footage with great night-vision, and thanks to the hardwire kit I can enable parking mode without worrying about plugging it in. Clean install, “always on” power, and no battery drain issues so far — definitely worth doing.

Indispensabile se si è acquistata una Dash Cam, e la si vuole montare senza fili volanti. Io ho acquistato una Dash Cam che, come tutte in commercio, include un alimentatore da collegare all'accendisigari, il che rende molto visibile il passaggio del filo, e soprattutto non permette di alimentare la dash cam quando il veicolo è spento, dato che l'accendisigari è alimentato solo a motore acceso. Con questo dispositivo è possibile alimentare la dash cam dal cassetto dei fusibili, ovviando ad entrambi i problemi (per una alimentazione continua della dash cam va collegata ad un fusibile alimentato anche a motore spento). Il dispositivo garantisce inoltre di non scaricare troppo la batteria, disattivando l'alimentazione della dash cam quando il livello della batteria scende oltre una certa soglia (per ora non mi è mai capitato). Il montaggio è abbastanza facile; un po' più noioso è il passaggio dei fili, ma quello dipende anche dall'automobile.

Me ha gustado para la minicamara del coche, porque no se ve ningun cable por el interior del coche y no tienes que hacer empalmes en la caja de fusibles porque trae de todo tipo de adaptadores. Me ha encantado.

Achat prévu pour l’installation d’une dashcam DDPAI j’ai trouve ce kit super complet ce qui a rendu énormément facile la mise en place du circuit à partir de ma boite à fusible jusqu’à la dashcam. Discret et de bonne qualité j’ai réussi à passer tout le câblage de façon à rendre le tout discret propre et fonctionnel. Pas de soudure ou jointure particulière le tout s’installe facilement et rapidement. La longueur du câble est aussi un plus pour des installations sur des véhicules comme le mien (Citroën Jumper). J’en suis content et le recommande sûrement a tous ce qui prévoit ce type d’installation !
