Definitely noticed a difference when using this before sleeping or work. Protects my face from random pimples that I was used to popping up throughout the week. Don’t use if you already have some type of acidic product like Paula’s choice on your face (IT’LL BURNNN). A little goes a long way and I recommend highly.

Let me start off by saying that when it comes to skin, the experience that one person might get from a product can be completely different than someone else. What works for me won’t work for everyone, and vice versa! I only say this because I think people should keep this in mind when buying a product like this. I knew the product would work for me going into buying it, but for fun I decided to read the reviews before my purchase, and it broke my heart to see so many reviews that were talking about how it makes them break out so no one should waste their time with this product. Everyone’s experience is completely valid, but with a product that isn’t something like a shirt, where everyone can feel the same texture of the fabric, things like a serum, cleanser, moisturizer, or anything of the sorts is a little different because although the formula doesn’t change bottle from bottle, the way that skin reacts to it does person to person. Let’s share our experiences without deterring people from trying it out themselves!! All that being said, I absolutely love love love this product! My sister told me about it maybe six months ago, and I started off by using Dermalogica‘s sample kit of the regiment, and halfway through the month my skin had a complete transformation. The foaming cleanser smelled absolutely amazing, and the serum was so lightweight. I only felt like I needed a little bit of product for my entire face. And as if it couldn’t get better, the moisturizer, which includes SPF 30, was also light and left my skin very soft after applying. To say the least, I was hooked on these products! I was the girl who tried almost every product and skin routine imaginable to try to get her skin clear and soft. There were products that cleared up my acne, but dried out my skin. Products that didn’t do anything except make my skin more oily. Products that just scammed me out of money! And there were products that did enough, but not what I needed. However, once I bought the clear and break out products from Dermalogica my skin really felt better. The acne was going away, my skin wasn’t drying up, and I was really starting to finally love my skin. So I think you can imagine how bummed I was when the kit no longer was going to be sold!! In my opinion the kit was a very cost efficient way to get your skin cleared up, since the full-size products are a little pricey, but to me it’s worth it when my skin does so well with this line! I bought the serum about a week and a half ago, and my skin has already been showing a difference within this timeframe. I just finished my cleanser and moisturizer as well, so I will be buying those products very soon!! I really do like this product, and hope that someone else can have an amazing experience with the regimen! If you’re hesitating on buying this serum, I would say go for it. It definitely doesn’t hurt to try, but if it doesn’t work, take it from someone who spent so much money and time trying to find the product that best works for them, something is out there, you just have to get to know your skin A little bit more!

I am in my late 30’s and enjoy this BHA. I have been loyal to Dermalogica since my teens. I used the previous version in my routine for years and find the updated bottle to have the same efficacy. The big difference between the two is texture; this one is more lightweight and runny. The previous version in the squeeze tube was thicker, like a lotion. I actually prefer the texture on this one. A few things I noticed, I can not use it on broken skin. I think the amount of citrus they incorporate is pretty high, which you can easily detect in the smell. The ingredients also slightly differ from the previous version, this one contains lactic acid and niacinamide. It’s not really clear how much Salicylic acid is in it, where as the previous version stated 2%. All in all, it is a budget- friendly BHA option for those looking to address texture issues. For the price point, that’s worth it to me.

This acne serum really works, unlike others I've tried in the past. From its lightweight and small form factor to its non-messy application, this has helped my skin clear up over the past month, which is faster than the other acne serums I've tried. The side squeeze button is so helpful instead of having to shake the bottle to get the serum out. Everyone's skin is very different, and what might work for me might not work for others, but it doesn't hurt to try it out.

Works like a charm- quickly clears up breakouts! Very lightweight and doesn’t make my skin sensitive nor does it cause any peeling or dryness. Highly recommend!
