I put these on my side by side trunk compartment. Much better than the old rubber hasps that could have been cut with a sharp knife. Got two. The keys matched. Love them.

Cheap Chinese garbage. I haven't even had it for a year and it's already rusting out. I absolutely would not recommend this item.

Lock can be turned without key
Bought these to mount on custom made motorcycle top case. Nice finish but lock has no pins and can be unlocked with a popsicle stick. Lock mechanism was too small to replace with new cam locks. Had to return, not what it is advertised as.

Looks good, not actually lockable
Although the latch is well made, the lock design is useless. The lock cylinder is held in place by friction, nothing else. When locked, light pressure on the latch pulls the lock cylinder out of the housing, thereby opening the latch. However, there are holes that pass through the latch, so one can remove the lock cylinder & housing, and run a long-shank padlock through to secure the latch in the closed position.

NiceKayak Handles
Thease handles are well made installed it on my SKB Fishing Tackle Box that only came with side handles. These handles match the fishing box so they worked out great.

Don't think these are handled with care. Arrived with the stainless pretty scuffed even though it was in a wrapper. Must have happened before packaging.

Nice and solid stainless steel hinge, it also has a spring loaded feature to keep the hinge under a positive pull avoiding vibrations
