MACKENZIE-CHILDS Mocha Check 2-Quart Tea Kettle

I have the 3 quart in mocha check. It was beautiful that it was a little big because when you put water in it, it became a little heavy and a little awkward to pour out. My right wrist is weak from a really bad spraying that I've had prior and so when I went to Lyft Lyft the tea kettle up to pour it into my cup. Then it was just hard. I had to use both hands to hold the tea kettle... So I did get a 2 quart in mocha check + you can't put maybe 2 in of water in the bottom. You have to be very careful because the steam when it starts oiling will come out the lid. It won't come out the spout for a release of the steam like a normal teapot does the steam comes out of the lid and when you go to pick the tea, kettle up off the stove to pour it into a cup. Your fingers get burned from the steam but I'm not going to return it. I'm just going to keep it but it is annoying for that.

It’s expensive but SO worth it!!! It’s stunning and a center piece on our stovetop!

this kettle is so beautiful, I boil water for tea almost every night and I have the tea cup with plate in the same color. I love it. I also have the black checkered coffee mug and the pink checkered coffee mug and I love them as well. the whole vibe is so different when you have coffee or tea in beautiful cups.

Love the look but such Poor quality. The lid is not tightly sealed so steam flies out from all around it, so when you’re pouring the water the steam is burning your hand. On top of this when the water is actually boiling it flies out from the spout - extremely dangerous especially if you have little children around. And no I did not overfill it! No whistle. This product is completely faulty and would not recommend. For 200$ it’s made in China not even sure what I paid for. Value is absolutely terrible for the money. See the attached video.
