I purchased it for my Mother in law and she can't get it to charge. Any ideas?

Did she pull the tab out to start it charging? Like anything with a battery there is a tab to pull out.

Gift arrived broken, how do I get it replaced? Also doesn't light after sitting in sun for 2 days. No indicator on on/off button to show on or off.

Same problem. From all the comments, it appears there is a major production. It’s a faulty product! Does charge-only lit a few times then stopped working entirely. No replacement given as was assured by the company. Sad, can’t trust quality control anymore for anything.

Is this product IP65 rated?

Not sure it's IP 65. But I live where there is high winds and when it rains, it rains hard and fast. So far after several months my turtle still works great.

can the toggle switch be kept in the "on" position all the time?

This is a very beautiful turtle statue from Nacome. Love the craftsmanship. The operating instructions are easy to follow—I just placed the figurine outside in the sunlight for the solar power to charge up for a while, and voila!!! The colors are so bright and they light up my patio beautifully at night. The only thing to note is the size; I wish it were a bit larger as it is quite small. However, the quality of the light is so good that I still love it. Definitely worth 5 stars!
