Have played some vinyl records on it & no issues. Mainly use it for listening to CDs and music on a USB stick - all good so far. Have not tried recording anything. In built speakers are okay but I use the Bluetooth to connect it to a soundbar or headphones for much better quality sound output - it's great that it has Bluetooth out so this can be done. Radio works but pity it's not DAB.
