Very easy to use, and has lasted a lot longer than expected.

At 56 years, I would be totally grey if I could bring myself to give up my dark red hair. Yeah, yeah, silver is a cool trend for younger women, but I want to keep my sexy red for a few more years. I use Loreal's Feria R48 (Red Velvet) . Have to color every 3 weeks or grey roots look terrible.The Loreal Magic Root Rescue is perfect for touch ups! I use the 4R for Dark Auburn Red Shades. It does cover all the grey and somehow blends perfectly with normal color.Its meant for only the mist visible roots, not the whole head. After 10 minute processing...voila! I added this product to my scheduled deliveries so I get 2 regular color and 2 root rescue auto delivered. No more searching in stores for my color and this amazing product

I was amazed at how easy this root color system was to use. I used the brush tip. Most of my silver hair is on the crown and sides of my head. I have very long hair, so I brushed it all out, divided and clipped up. I did not do the back of my head under the crown area, as there’s no silver there. I first brushed onto the hair framing my face, then went to the back area and moved forward. I used one entire bottle for the area I did. If you’re dying all of your roots, you will need both bottles. Once I got into the shower to rinse off, I added a bit of water and mixed everything together for a few minutes to get some color into all of my hair. I have a “skunk” stripe and was surprised that this color actually took. I used the 4R and it blended well with my current color. I will be purchasing again.

Love this color, but there’s not enough to cover all my roots because I have a lot of hair, sometimes I use this color for back and lower sections and use Root Rescue Dark Brown #4 for the top and sides.
