Dear Stephanie, Thank you for contacting us. It does not contain any pieces of garlic as this would degrade the shelf life of the product. We crush real garlic cloves and separate the solids/liquids using a centrifuge, same process used in crushing our koroneiki olive fruit to extract our olive oil. I used to get my oils from a farmer's market but with all the virus the product stop coming Then my secondary source was someone that imported oils but decided to close their store So I ended up in Amazon trying to go through this and trying to find a product with Koroneiki olives This one is a very good one. The only thing is that to open the bottle, through time was getting harder and harder to open. I know is important to have a very tight opening to avoid air...but that was hard. But that has nothing to do with the flavor. The flavor was great.
