Probably my mistake, but I thought that I was buying sprouting seeds for salad use. They never sprouted, but absorbed water to look almost like frog spawn. I emailed the company (address on the jar), but they never replied.

The best basil seeds
I've been using basil seeds for my IBS. Have used many brands. I soak 2 tsp about an hour or two in a glass of water, before dinner. They all swell, but these swell much much more. So much, that 2 tsp in a glass of water, become almost a solid blob ! So, instead of 2 tsp, I now soak only 1 tsp, but that is only for this brand. Other brands, I still soak 2 tsp. Excellent !!!
