This is a weird clock. It seems meant for the Chinese market. It doesn’t have daylight savings and the time zone names didn’t quite make sense to me which is my least favorite thing about it. You just have to change time zones until it’s the right time and change time zones if you have daylight savings. That said it’s really good at keeping time and syncing to gps. I wish more clocks used gps. The display is simple but adequate and bright. It’s kind of expensive for what it is but it met all the requirements so I can’t say I regret it.

This clock tells UTC time. If you are not familiar with UTC time, look it up. OK, now that you looked up UTC time you now understand there is no Eastern, Central etc time zones, there's no day light savings time or any other nonsense like that. Set up was easy, I placed it on a chair in front of a window and in about 2 minutes it synced and showed the correct time--for Beijing. How do I set it for where I live, easy. Again, Google is your friend. Search for what UTC zone(offset) you are in. Take the remote control and point it at the clock and keep pressing the globe button until that zone number shows up on the clock. Done. There is a pamphlet packed with the clock that explains the remote button functions. What about day light savings time, again just Google what UTC Zone and adjust, it is not automatic. The auto dim feature works great. The darker the room gets the dimmer the clock gets. In a totally dark room, you can barely see the numbers. This feature can be turned off and brightness set manually. As for the other features don't know, don't care, don't use them. The clock seems to have no problem receiving the satellite signal on an inside wall about 10 feet from the window. I used a very old Garmin GPS navigation receiver to test satellite strength. I held the GPS where I wanted to hang the clock. I figured if the GPS could lock onto the signal, then the clock should be able to. I was right. Overall quality seems good, and it is sturdy.

Item worked for six hours. That was after 45 minutes of fighting with it to show the correct time. This item lacks a good manual and helpful tutorials.

Along with others, I'm pleased with the clock but not the setup. What you THINK should properly program the clock on the remote, doesn't do what you expect. It's a nice sized clock for a large room IF you can get it to tell the correct time. Looking for any online guides to help with it now...
