Easy to install, great feel and good quality. Don't waste your money on ModdedZone with their garbage. This is the exact same kit but so much better while being expandable and having toggle-able hair triggers. You can get any of eXtremeRate's clicky face button kits and it works together flawlessly. No soldering if you don't need L3 R3 which I'm not sure you'd even need for most games. 10/10 will be buying again.

Absolute game changer. The paddles feel soo natural and work perfectly. This made my game play sooo much better. There are a few things to knowing advance Installation takes about 1-1/2 hours. The video tutorial does a Greta job showing you how to put it together. I wish they would specify what hardware SPECIFICALLY to use during each step. And I did feel like they could’ve definitely had some items pre built but then again for $50 it’s well worth it. The install video kinda conjoined remapping the r3 and l3 buttons together in the same video where you have to use a soldering gun. They should’ve definitely made a separate video for that to avoid confusion. And I do wish they included tweezers in the kit as well but that’s minor gripe. But over all. The install really wasn’t that hard. Just takes longer than the advertised 35 minutes. This is a great product I will be buying more.

Great mod, DOES include the modded back for it, overall great quality and does include some extra pads for personalization. Will definitely require some soldering/organization skills to manage the cables and pads, but if you’re skilled, you got this, no questions. Will recommend, very responsive and looks great

It’s not completely necessary for you to have prior experience in this area, but you will definitely wish you did. It is doable and there are fantastic walkthrough videos that will get you to the finish line. My complaint is the fitment or the bottom shell to the stock upper. It snapped in, but doesn’t quite sit right. The paddles are also a bit cheap feeling. The mapping process could not be any easier. Overall it functions as intended. I do wish the trigger mechanism was better designed. Mine have uneven pull lengths before clicking, but this can probably worked out with the included spacer stickers.

Ordered the 030 - 050 controller kit, as my controller is one of those. The back shell of the controller of this kit will not fit onto the controller as the battery tray has changed. There is a gap of 1/4 inch where the dock charging thing is. I used a knife and cut some of the plastic down and the gap went from 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch.

Works as expected, installation was tricky and could definitely see how you could mess it up. Requires a good hour or two but worth it. Clicky triggers are nice too

So far so good. If you were jealous of the SCUF Reflex, this gets you there. Add actual scuf reflex sticks and you got a scuf for much cheaper. Four back buttons, unlike the edge. There is a new version called SPARK and BEYOND which is for Edge but haven't tried them yet.

I’ve tried every back button mod ExtremeRate had for the PS4, and I was very impressed and comfortable with them, especially the Black Decade Tournament Controller (DTC). I never really had an issue with their installation process. After you do it a couple of times, it’s pretty straightforward. I even learned how to solder for the L3 and R3 remap. One thing I really liked about the DTC for the PS4 was how the buttons were set up vertically, which made having access to all four buttons really easy. I used the PS4 DTC controller for a long time. And mostly played Apex Legends with it. In fact, I still have it. The only issue was that one of the back buttons wore out over time and doesn’t always register when you press it. Fast forward to when I upgraded to a PS5 I couldn’t use the PS4 controller anymore unless I had the PS4 version of the game installed on my PS5. So, I ended up getting these for my PS5. I’ve had them for over a year now. They’re still in good condition, mostly due to the fact that I barely used them, so I can’t comment on the wear over time. The profiles for button configuration and the clicky triggers are the only things I like about this mod. The back button layout is a huge dealbreaker for me.I bought these primarily to play Apex Legends, and I normally run “crouch/jump” on the lower pair of buttons and “swap weapon/reload” on the top pair. When I used the DTC PS4 ExtremeRate mod, I was pretty happy with it. But the Rise4 Plus Max for the PS5 is so uncomfortable to use with that setup. It’s practically impossible to place fingers on all 2 back paddles and the two buttons in the central compartment without having your fingers ache after just 10 minutes of gameplay. I ended up not even using it at all for Apex because it would hurt my fingers, and it just felt very uncomfortable trying to interact with those two buttons and two paddles simultaneously. I tried it on Helldivers recently to give the controller a second chance. I ran into the same issue, and it made the bulkiness feel even more apparent. Any time I tried to use a stratagem and have my fingers on the back buttons, it would shorten my thumb reach, making it difficult and painful. I really hate this design. If they got rid of those buttons in the central compartment and instead split the paddle they have on each side, it would be a way better design. I don’t think there’s any point in having four back buttons or paddles when I can’t have my fingers resting on them comfortably. I know they have to work with how the PS5 controller was built, but it’s still a terrible design. Just go take a look at the four back button mod for the Xbox it’s way better and a lot more ergonomic. Honestly, I don’t know why we didn’t get that for the ps5 If you’re buying this to have your fingers on all four back buttons like I was, you’ll end up hating this controller.
