Crampbuster CB4 Black Throttle Mounted Motorcycle Cruise Assist

No cruise control on my motorcycle, so this little gizmo is really helpful for easing hand cramps on the throttle side. At about $10, I wasn't so sure about this, but it works well. High quality black plastic slips over your throttle and lets the beefy part of the palm of your hand keep the speed steady while allowing you to moved your fingers around (no numb fingers!). Comes with a rubber band to make the device fit more snugly if needed. Will probably need to futz with it over several rides to find just the right position (whether in or out/forward or back) to get just the right fit for your hand palm comfort. Clever, cheap, really works. This model (look at the photo) is flush left with an offset to the right and fits farther to the end of your throttle. There is also a model that is made to fit closer toward the middle of your throttle (the left side looks like the right side instead of being flush left). I prefer this one. Give it a try!

I installed one of these YEARS ago on my 2012 R1200GS and it works extremely well. It stays on, it does the job, really helps when / if I get a cramp or if my hand gets tired. Then, last spring, I got a 2023 K1600GTL! I thought, "OK, this thing has cruise control. No need for a crampbuster.". Well, cruise control is great and all. But, for those moments where you just want a quick stretch or if you're in a situation where cruise control isn't a good idea and would make for a poor life decision, this crampbuster is the perfect solution. It's cheap and simple and makes a world of difference. On a side note, I have this installed on my K1600GTL with the grip puppies over the hand grips. Fits fine with no issues. My R1200GS? I have it installed with out the grip puppies. Also fits fine with out issues.

Works good on 2026 Indian scout bobber, WHEN it stays in place. Even with the supplied band it still slips. But still helps with stiff throttle and bad wrist. It will get me by till cruise control is installed.

This is well made, comes with a rubber insert to keep it securely in one place on the throttle and is very easy to install. Ordered 2 for each of my motorcycles. Put them on in less than 5 min. Rode my motorcycle a little while later. The rest stays in place and position can be changed easily to fit your hand and wrist. Recommend.

This is helping me so much with EDS pain while riding. My hands cramp so much and this just adapts the throttle and allows me to go on longer rides more comortably and with better control.

I ride a Suzuki Boulevard. This went on easy on the stock grips. It works well, when it works, but does not stay in place. When I first set it, it feels great, but after a few minutes I start to notice deceleration due to slippage. I have to grip this tighter than I would have to hold the grips, causing more discomfort than not using it. It resets easily and is easy to get out of the way when not needed, but it has caused some accidental whiskey throttles while trying to get used to it. With a second rubber ring, it may work better, but they don't sell them separately.

Works just as described and honestly, comfortable. It doesnt slip on my foam Grip Puppies and my palm rests just right on it.

It is very grippy on the handgrip and the pad is large enough to rest the heel of my palm. Riding on the surface streets though, it had to be pushed out of the way. It was so helpful and, at certain riding instances, it truly gave me the total control at high speed, IMO. Highly recommended.

Using For last 2 years and No problem till date

Hatte schon mal vor 10 Jahren einen 'Crampbuster' als manuellen Tempomat und nutze diesen nun wieder auf meiner Vespa. Da dieser mit einer Kombination aus Reibung/Klemmung am Griff und den Handdruck funktioniert, muss man sich zwar daran gewöhnen, dann funktioniert es aber super und man kann elegant und exakt die Gasöffnung halten. So machen lange Fahrten mit dem Roller noch mehr Spaß
